I have one of these, to solve your gimbal issue, mount your phone wherever it can be reached and use the zcam app from the app store. You will have access to settings and start/stop recording options.

Hey thnx for watching. Yeah i tought of that but then i would have to use my phone with usb-c which is already taken by my ssd. The wifi glitches now and then so i stopped using it. But z cam is working on some new projects and i offered this a few times so hope they'll listen.

Use an Atomos Ninja. Record to a SSD and control the camera on the screen.

Hey thnx for watching! Yes that's possible but takes up a lot of memory space because of the big files. The ninja is good if you want to shoot zraw.

Hello i am thinking switch from gh5 to z cam m4. Looks great do you have problems shooting when the weather is bad because its not weatherproof

Hey thanks for watching. I like image quality of the zcam more than the gh5 so it would be a nice switch. I never shot in bad weather before. I saw some videos from people that shot in snow with no problems so i think it can handle it.

Thnx for watching! Yess that would be the best option but cfast cards are expensive. Saving for a 1gb cfast at the moment.

@@LottacamStudio Cfast cards are expensive though a worthwhile investment. I wouldn't say you need a 1Tb card I just have a 128gb, just for gimble work. As I think PRORES RAW out weights Zraw atm. I guess the fact CFast is so expensive that is the 3rd con.
