As someone living on HK Island I feel more closely attached to the M trains, with these gone the M trains will be the last British built trains on the network. MTR should really step up preservation measures and do more to commemorate the various old stock which was the backbone of our railways for many years. Keeping withdrawn trains in operational condition would be nice, and maybe they can do something fun like giving a new EMU vinyl wraps to represent the old livery, just imagine an R train with yellow ends. :)

I am attached to British milt trains, yes the new train is very fresh and wide, but the old trains is more memorable historic pieces of Hong Kong during the British colonization. The British style of 3 door (each side) makes it an rural regional train feel, it still exist, but sadly not in Hong Kong. *R.I.P MLR*
其實好合理姐,你係咪想到「通車」果日先至全數轉用新嘅 R Train 呢? 人地都要時間試運全線 R Train 嫁嘛

Logisticall, A and B is right, because Tai Wai is overground not underground so C get eliminated immediately. While it is a trains station, it is owned by MTR. It is your preference of how one you call it.
This British Car trains had been serviced us more than 30 + years, it's about to retired. I won't miss it, because the Cabin of that British car is so dirty even the pollution. We also welcome to the new Hyundai car train service in MTR fleet. It is very graceful to have you in Hong Kong.
