Lyrics: In the chill of the night I can feel my heart racing As I run towards the light that seems so far away Wondering forever In the darkest of shadows Wondering if I will ever see you again Wondering if I will ever see you again I'll take your love (I'll take your love) I'll take your hate (take your hate) I'll take you're desire I'll take the world when it turns on you (when it turns on you) I'll set it on fire W-the-w-th-th-the walking dead The walking dead (walking dead) Digging in the dirt I can feel you getting closer Steadying my hands through the blistering pain Anxiously awaiting for the earth to reveal you Wondering if I will ever see you again (see you again) Wondering if I will ever see you again I'll take your love (I'll take your love) I'll take your hate (take your hate) I'll take you're desire I'll take your heart I'll take your pain (I'll take your pain) I'll bring you to life I'll bring you to life W-the-w-th-th-the walking dead The walking dead (walking dead) I'll bring you to life I'll take your love (I'll take your love) I'll take your hate (take your hate) I'll take you're desire I'll take the world when it turns on you (it turns on you) W-the-w-th-th-the walking dead I'll take your love (I'll take your love) I'll take your hate (take your hate) I'll take you're desire I'll take your heart I'll take your pain (I'll take your pain) I'll bring you to life

I can’t believe this isn’t bigger. This is probably one of chesters most underrated songs. I was 14 when this came out, want to say I got really lucky pretty much hearing it somewhere on a site or something and fell in love with it but as KZbin wasn’t really a thing back then I specifically had to go to that site to hear it lol. Eventually the site went down and it was lost for a solid minute because even when KZbin came out, it wasn’t until this video had finally been uploaded that I was actually able to listen to it again. REALLY glad it’s been here all these years and hope I’ll be able to jam it for another 16 years 🤟 Rest In Peace Chester!!!! Thank you for this 💪

John Staus Zombies are quite a lively bunch of blokes. Much like this band. They're always so cheery enthusiastic. People always give them crap for being dead, but they are just misunderstood. They make excellent pet sitters, and can often be found playing shuffle board with members of the local retirement communities.
