Can u please teach me what type of wine u using here for this soaking recipe of fruits...l m interested to learn n how long is the fermentation period... The green fruit u using here is what name please...l see it's not small limes...thank you for your help ... thanks 🙏

She's using erguotou, a distilled sorghum-based liquor, but she says any alcohol above 20% is fine. I think most people use some sort of distilled spirit. My stepdad does too. Chinese grain-based spirits tend to be a lot more fragrant than European liquors. I don't know if that has an effect on the fruit wine, but if you do want a more authentic taste, you might want to go for a grain-based liquor. The green fruit is a type of plum. I tried looking up some specifics, but unfortunately I can't get any more info than that. And if you try to look it up yourself, be wary that a lot of the results won't actually be the one you're looking for. Most results lead to descriptions don't really seem to correlate with the fruit at stake, so they're probably talking about some other plum.
