You can build a ealry sorting system with 4 of the hand sorter's, let them cascade into each other, set one for gold, iron, power shard, and corodium, gems will fall out the end no need to sort them, also use the cauldron to collect the smeltable items. Also fyi if you start in create mode you can grab the hourglass and save the game and quit, then turn off create and reload letting you keep the hourglass and being able to pause the time during day. No more night!!!

For anyone who doesn't know, you can drop the pan in the water and it will constantly refill so all you have to do is put dirt in and scrub. Get yourself a few pans and you'll be swimming in ore in no time, pun intended.

fish can be sold at the same place you sell your nuggets. the glowing crystals will increase water pressure. you have a cart & Truck to haul stuff = why are you running one piece at a time??? don't forget the grindstone, forge and anvil + tools for making stuff that sells better,

If you fish with a fishingpole, there is a chance to get a lobster and if you put that lobster into the sell bucket at that fishing place with the lobster sign, you get a tier 2 fishing pole. ( Up to tier 9 I think )

The ram drill is just like the ram drill from 1.7 You can place them on the ground just like you did before. Also those things on the side of the intake pipe is for boosters that you can attach to them that you actually have to craft at the forge.

Hey Z1 here's a few tips you should know plus reminders Unfortunately the auto repair system for filters is broken Hybrid steel is gonna look into it I highly recommend you check out his KZbin video on it it'll save you time and money but anyway 1. Pipes and belts are now separate so you can have a t pipe and put belt on it very useful feature 2. Icehelm is were you go to craft more their 1 drills and extractor you need to buy the model of the drill in the icehelm store place it on the pedestal next to the giant anvil drop 300 weight iron bar into the giant crucible than pull the lever any excess iron will pour down into a cast instructions are on the wall and if you bring your truck and park it under a chute outside you can drop the drill onto a conveyor belt that has a sign that picture some items going in with a truck receiving said items trust it's faster than the way out 3. The power store has had a lot of things removed like the David and Goliath set up there is only rams left no reactors either but idk if you could do this before but you can now use the gem compressor by manually pulling the level or using logic 4. Splitters got a nice change and imo much simpler to use basically place down a pipe put the splitter conveyor on said pipe make sure the tray is facing to the left it can't turn any other direction once it's on the pipe put a ore on it like gold all gold will pass by a laser thingy than it'll head down to awaiting buckets or smelters but for gems be sure to put all 3 or 4 if you get onyx UNCUT gems on the tray it'll essentially tell the splitter to send all gems that way once the uncut gems are splitter buy a polish attachment from conveyor nation it can be attached right on the belt and will polish up the gems for the compressor I think that's most of the handy tips

There is no Goliath and David Machines anymore. It's just that the different Tiers of Drills work at different depths/can profit up to a certain depth for better "quality dirt" to get resources from.

First quest : find the shovel ! - Needed few minutes for it but i think its in the same place as before The first place you wanted to sell fish is only to unlock or rather get better fishing rod and it works only with specific "fish" In my opinion best way to start is to gather resources enough to buy fishing rod, do some fishing or crazy amount of fishing and than start automatizacion THE NEW place you just need to see it yourself

There's a spot in the river at starter base where you can build the fish traps on top of each other. So put several down in one spot. Just grab and drop in a bucket... Voila

you are not the only person who had the fish conundrum, in the 80's and 90's very basic logic like showing you a sign was enough to tell you this goes here, like shrimp arrow bucket meant place shrimp here .... some of the other mechanics like 4 shovels of dirt into a bucket then pour that into washing bowl (panning?) may be a little vague .... but games logic from early gaming history is no longer basic knowledge

There's actually a stock market for fish in that small area where you can get the fishing pole upgrades, it's better to sell it there than at the jeweler.

I found a fast way to get money. You need a bucket pan and car. So you fill the bucket and dumb the bucket out in the cart then once the cart is filled then you can use the pan.

Just place the fish in a pan. Can put basically an unlimited amount in it and then just place the pan on the table of the trader to sell all the fish.

Yep, fishing into a pan or a bucket is the best way to go. All you have to do is line up your drop marker inside of the bucket or pan and then be sure to be close enough to the water so the bobber goes into the water and when you click to reel in the fish it will just automatically go in the pan or bucket if you have it positioned correctly. Obviously this doesn't work for the larger catches so for those you want to save up and get a pallet, put those fish on the pallet and then just put the pallet in the back of your truck or on top of your cart.

Because of the physics of the game, "filling" the pan takes some doing early on. It can hold a deceptively huge amount.

@@Dead_Guy_Bob I'm pretty sure that you get an increased return on whatever you turn into the stock market until it literally shows 1:1 and then you are just getting the price that you would if you sold it to the jeweler so even if there is a red arrow you are still getting an increased return, you're just not getting as much as you would if it were 100 or better

@@Dead_Guy_Bob actually you are correct. I just tested it to confirm but either way you can still just fish for a while and then only sell when the market is above 100%. I'm not sure how long it takes for the market to go back up in value but in the time it's taken me to post this comment it went up 11% so it's doesn't seem like it's that long.
