But, once he learned that Charlie in the female firm was fucking with him, he weasel'd his way back into the house. So, he had the means to move out though it wasn't gonna be by a beach. Additionally, at the end of season 3 Alan had won a half a million dollars and instead of getting on his feet, he was dead broke in 4 months and begging Charlie for a place to stay again. Alan is more of a bad example 2 Jake than Charlie is. Afterall, it's Charlie's House. 2nd, Alan doesn't set a good example by showing his son that its best to mooch off of people.
