Z31 Ep 32 Alternator tensioner fail

Isn't there multiple bolts holding the alternator under tension - two on the tensioning rod itself and I believe at least another one or two on the alternator body to engine block... Has someone been naughty and not put *all* the bolts back on ;)

No only 1 bolt holds the alternator to the tensioner bracket. The bolt goes thru the tensioning adjuster and bracket and threads into the alternator. I striped the threads in the alternator and didn’t fix them. So even tho I put all the bolts back I was still naughty cuz the most important one wasn’t tight 🤡🥲

I think you've mentioned it in a previous video but I've forgotten; how did you blow your head gasket?

I blew the head gasket back in 2018 from revving it to redline in a tunnel lol. After that I just had the heads redone (some leaking valves too) and new head gaskets and left the bottom end alone. Then I spun the #2 rod bearing cuz it got low on oil 😞 I haven’t done another compression leak down test since it overheated yet but I know I have pretty bad blow by on cylinder #2
