My 2006 Mazda B4000 just did this, (a week before I was going to trade it in), I had no idea airbag indicators flashed codes. A 74 type bulb is slightly different than the original, but it worked. Thanks!

If you are using an LED with an INTERNAL RESISTOR: Make sure the anode (long prong) is second from the edge of the circuit board. If you are looking at the green side (What you see @1:52) and are holding the module by the black plug, it would look like this: The upper right most prongs are for the light/LED. || (Traces and prongs) (Anode)(Cathode) || It took me a few tries because this was the first time I've ever soldered but I figured it out. My warning light is gone. I hope I can save y'all some time. Thanks for the video.

Tell me if I messed up the order so I can edit my comment but I think I'm right.

I couldn't honestly tell you but you are correct that LEDs aren't dual polarity, I learned that the first time I swapped to LED's in one of my old trucks dashes

Code 27 fixed -ford ranger 2002. Ford asked $240 for the airbag switch box. I bought 2 bulbs for $5.95 from Walmart(long life bulb 74) and went to a mobile repair shop to replace the bulb. It took 1 minute and the guy told me I do not need to pay anything but I gave him $10. All fixed around $13.50. Thanks

Just did this on a 2012 e250. Was originally gonna use a bulb off ebay(5mm 12v .07amp incandescent), but the 74 worked great. It draws .10 amp. Some use a 194 bulb but it draws .270 amp. Dont know if it matters or what the original draws

So I soldered the light to the board but it has not fixed the beeping...can you give me further guidance? If need be. I can post a video on my channel showing you a example as well as the light I used. Thanks man

Did you use a normal halogen bulb or an led bulb? I know LEDs don't have dual polarity and only work one way.

@@Z3CHYD I used a Sylvania 74LL I think...would you like me to post a video and a brief description...I don't exactly remember the number of the Sylvania that used but I could further explain what is going wrong or just walk you through the issue in a video

Your's is? From what I can find online it says: "Intermittent or Repaired Driver Side Air Bag Circuit Low Resistance or Shorted Passenger seat module seat armrests locking" So either a plug plugging into one of your airbags isn't fully connected, or passenger seat connector isn't connected. I had this code when I swapped seats in another ranger that didn't have a plug on the passenger seat
