I took the chance and I tested the theory of the steering wheel and the horn and it works

@@smoothmind32 If it makes you feel better, my truck's electrical is all kinda messed up. The windshield wipers go off randomly for no reason sometimes, and the airbag light will stay off, and go on whenever it feels like. You just sorta live with it.

What is the resisters size for Ford 2009 F-150 please ?

Whould I do the same thing if I swap seats and it’s a different connector?
@rayregnogarage3 жыл бұрын
Ah. Did you get a seat out of a newer truck? I've never dealt with that issue, but I imagine it would be the same thing. Might be a different resistance resistor, but I'd try with the 2 OHM first and see if maybe it needs more if it didn't solve the issue. Would need to research that a bit.

What code did it give u for the airbag? I replaced clockspring and now I have a airbag 24 code
@rayregnogarage3 жыл бұрын
I didn't run the code. I knew it was because I removed the airbag. Haha. I put in an aftermarket steering wheel and ditched the airbag, so I had to put in a resistor to trick the truck into thinking it was still there.

What happens when you try to perform a state inspection?
@rayregnogarage Жыл бұрын
Don't have state inspection or emissions in WA. Also never had a problem in CA either. Inspection requirements vary from state to state

What hub adapter did you use? Can’t seem to find one for my 2004 ranger.

Links for everything I used in the video are in the description. Also take a look at the comments on this video. Lots of helpful information there: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pWaQk399eaudjck

What resistor goes with Toyota s??
@rayregnogarage2 жыл бұрын
Not sure. Probably the same. I use the same resistor on my Honda and my Nissan, too. They aren’t the greatest resistor though, I’ve replaced it twice in my ranger as they go bad. Nissan has gone bad, too. No issues with the Honda yet.

my 94 Ranger doesnt have the same guage, mine's more squared in shape, therefore meaning, i dont know where my airbag light is, so that's kind of a problem in my opinion
@rayregnogarage3 жыл бұрын
1995 is when they switched the interior on the Ranger. I think they redesigned to work with airbags. 1994 didn't have airbags if I'm not mistaken.
@rayregnogarage3 жыл бұрын
But the reason I show this is the modification for the clockspring.. don't break the connector like I did. otherwise, you'll have to wire your horn externally like I did here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/r6i2Z4t4lpdqa80

I don't understand the logic of this video. If your airbag light is on, it indicates that there is a possible issue with your airbag inflating in the event of an accident. Warning lights are warning the users of underlying issues for a reason.
