Caught mine with a Cat Boxer 8' 6" SE rod / Ambusher 9000 SE reel/ X -Series Fluoro line 0.25" / 6oz sinker/ Titanium leader 012" / #5/0 Barbless hook ... at 140ft out same location as this video. 11:35 PM Day 1 .Weather was night - 42F, water was 48F. First throw waited about 5 min total. Hopefully this is helps. Good Luck Fishing 🎣

Thank you Zabby! Actually did exactly what you did including having to switch nights. HOWEVER I had both my float and bottom rods hook up at the same time. Caught two Rainbow Outlaws. 19.767kg (4th largest) and 19.712kg (should be 5th largest but only biggest fish is recorded I guess). Took screen shots to prove it. Once again THANKS!

This happened to me on the Voodoo Monster at White Moose. If you happen to hook a second before reeling it in on the first you get lucky and get 2! Still waiting for my bite on the Rainbbow Outlaw.

The guide says to use telescopic or match rods , can you use bottom rods and still get credit for the mission ?

Yes so whenever a mission says something like that you can just equip the bait to a telescopic or match rod and then also do the same with a bottom rod and it will be fine. Basically just need the match rod for completing the mission objective!

Btw you dont need to fish at night to catch the Outlaw, i caught it midday :)

Equip the monster bait to a telescopic or float rod then just use the bottom rod. Just need to equip it to the other rods to progress the mission.

I just wanted to know why you use bottom rods cause the mission tell you to use telescopic og match float rods. I spent a lot of time loosing bait to a rod that doesn't work for this mission but thank you for showing me the spot where to catch it

Sturgeon farming in California is very very quick but you could also go to Alaska for the unique salmon

I tried this method over and over, it didn't work for me. I had to re do the brown trout egg mission twice! I had to leave the lake to get my eggs from home and when I returned I caught it finally on my first cast (5:11am)! I used a float rod, depth set to 98 inch and a 6/0 Hook. I casted 3 rods as close to the rock on the left and as far out as I could (138ft). Done! This could be major luck but with my current odds, I doubt that. Hope this helps someone :)

The best way to catch fish is get in some comfy shorts get in bed turn on fishing planet and put ur phone on Netflix best way to catch the biggest fish of your life

yes once you run out, you will get the mission back to catch more brown trout

If you read the challenge properly, to get the trophy you have to use a Match or Telescopic rod to get the Monster, like you do with all of them.

Did you already catch the Outlaw? You can only catch it once. If you haven't caught it yet you will get the mission back and will be able to re-catch the brown trout to get more eggs!

I did this mission and ran out of bait because other fish was hitting my line a now I ran out just to be told the store doesn't have any wtf so now I can't complete the mission 🤔

That sucks, i think u used too small hooks or not the good depth thats when other fishes come for the bait. I always watch some videos before i want to get a monster fish

The first mission will come back so track that and catch 3 more brown trout and you can get the bait again :)
