There is something to be said about how clear and concise you were when explaining the products, steps, tips and tricks that are needed to apply false lashes. The quality of the video was amazing, and you explained EVERYTHING in detail, down to how you removed the lashes from the packaging to how you re-purposed the extra lash that you often remove! I truly loved this video, and I learned something new! I have applied false lashes before AND have run into most of the problems that occur when owning false lashes (I mean who hasn't). I came across your video and I do not regret it, usually when I watch *Applying Lashes* video it often ends up being a vague explanation. But you knocked it out of the park with this one, and I will be trying these out the next time I try to apply my false lashes. Keep up the good work! 🙌👍

I've been wearing false lashes for years. As a belly dancer, I have to (part of any stage performer's makeup kit). The easiest, quickest way I have found to put on lashes is to snip them into thirds. Use mascara first, as Zabrena said. Then glue on the outermost third, then the middle third, and then the inner third. I don't ever re-use lashes, since I mascara them to my own lashes (to help them stay in place during a sweaty set), so I don't spend a lot on lashes to begin with (hello ebay!). This is just an idea to try if using the full strip is still causing you pain.

it's so irritating though! My eye twitches so bad when I get the lashes near, and a lot of the eyelash glues make my eyes water. I've tried many times but I get so frustrated that don't even want to try anymore. I hate my natural lashes and most mascaras do me no favors. It sucks.

Vampire Flapper you know what may work for your twitching eye?? My eyes twitch as well and Ive been doing this technique for quite some time now because when I apply liner that’s when it twitches the WORST ugh...and so I just kind of picked up certain techniques a little from everyone and came up with this...Ok I’m going to write this in HOPES that it comes out right lol.... so what I do is I’ll put the lash on just in the middle just to make sure its on there it’s stuck so when my eyes starts to twitch or blink a 100000 times it’s still gonna stay, so for example my right eye once the lash is on I’ll bring my left hand up palm resting on my face cheek whatever, take my middle and forefinger place them right at the outer corner of my eye and I gently pull that skin taught so alls it is is pulling towards my temple, this gives me AMPLE time to play around and make sure the lash is secure, in the right spot etc... my eye does not MOVE this small motion stops the twitching the blinking it works.... and it works AMAZINGLY for applying winged liner... and also for the watery eyes instead of wiping or stearin away from certain products cuz you think the watery eyes will ruin them well a little trick is, take a Q-tip have it ready, in your hand and when applying say mascara, liner in the waterline and your eye starts to water gently place that Q-tip RIGHT ON THE TEAR DUCT and press it in lightly, this may sound strange and scary but TRUST me it WORKS it soaks up EVERYTHING in seconds you can close your eye once you place it there and when you open them the eye is completely DRY it’s so strange I know I sound CRAZY 😜 telling someone idk to stick a Q-tip in her eye 🤔 but believe me it doesn’t hurt all’s you’re doing is placing it on the tear duct in that inner corner I HOPE this made sense if not I’ll be more than happy to explain anything that “didn’t” make sense 😬😬

I would add 2 things to an already excellent demonstration. 1) I apply my glue first to a toothpick and then to the lash. It gives me more control. 2) Right after I apply the lash while the glue is still setting I gently push the lash up to give it a better tilt as if I curled them. It blends your curled lashes with the false lashes better too.

There is a magnetic eyeliner for falsies to stick to. It comes in a set. The falsies band is magnetic and so is the eyeliner. It is completely different than the just magnetic falsies. Tati did a video on them recently:)

Very informative, you are beautiful. Love lashes as well. The first time I tried them I fell in love, & I told myself I have got to learn how to do them. So I practiced, practiced, practiced. Now it takes me under 2 mins to do them. No matter where I go lashes are a must, I don’t have to be made up but lashes looks good even without makeup. So, don’t give up novices, you will definitely get it with a lot of practice. It’s worth it.

Best false eyelash tutorial so far. I've been waiting for you to do this video because I know how good you are at explaining things and going into details about everything. So, HUGE THANK YOU!! And I agree with you, the most important part about wearing eyelashes is finding the ones that matches your eyeshape. I wasted so much money on fake lashes because I wanted my eyes to look like a certain way but obviously that doesn't work bc my eyeshape is not the same like the beauty gurus I watch.. 🙄 to all beginners out there: buy cheap lashes to practice and find the right lash and size and then invest in some good ones. They are worth it and can change your whole look!! 😊 PS: I would love to know what you think of lash extensions Zabrena.. pros and cons and how does it affect your lashes/makeup wear, etc.?

Sooo detailed and that’s what I always look for on a tutorial!! DETAILS! I’m old school, what I mean is I’m 39 but I’ve been using makeup since my mother let me when I was 15! My first paycheck was all spent at MAC! This was so informative Zabrena. I do wear falsies but I did found this video helpful. Formaldehyde is a carcinogen which is scary to even think about. Contact with the eyes from formaldehyde can cause burns to the eyes which is scary to think about. I found applying mascara *after* applying my falsies to be more helpful for me since my lashes get in the way of applying falsies if they're coated with mascara. I also let my falsies soak in oil free makeup remover before I hop in the shower and then after my shower they are ready to be cleaned off with a Q-Tip and oil free makeup remover.

Just started wearing lashes today, I've tried in the past, but never did anything after struggling to use them...I found a liner/glue pen at dollar tree this week (I was shocked) and it was so easy to apply the lashes using this pen ..I was surprised to say the least... so far the lash liner pen is holding them on ...which is exciting Thank u for sharing
