wow, there is a lot to unpack from that 1 hour and 26 minutes! Firstly, Zac is a legend and great to hear his thoughts on how BMX influences his life in general. The whole RWilly converstation, and referencing across different scenarios, was interesting. ACT Jam was the first time I had the chance to speak with Ryan and what struck me was just how actually "core" he is in his love for BMX. As a "celebrity", he was down to talk to anyone and sign autographs, etc, but as a BMX fan, he was frothing on ACT Jam as much as the rest of us. If that sort of person can cross the divide and put more people on a 20 inch then bring it on. Only last week we had a kid rock up at the local skatepark on his BMX when I have only ever seen him on a scooter. His comment was that if RWilly can do both, then why can't he - chalk up one more kid riding a BMX. As for the Back Bone news, what more can you say that Zac didn't already cover at the end. The contribution from Rhys and Tyson to the scene, not just in Canberra but AUS wide, is immense. To have a shop that has crafted a whole scene is special. It is a 5 hour trip from my place to Canberra, but the minute I cross the state line it feels like BMX home, and that is driven from what Back Bone has done for the BMX community over the last 19 years. Super stoked to see what the future holds! And lastly - ACT Jam on Tour? Hell yeah, bring on April!

Wise words Miner, resi will never count. But all the guys that post that stuff are good enough to do it on legit ramps so I'd love to see more of that which I think would get more love from others in the scene.

Love the podcasts Tyson Its awesome to hear your outlook on how mtb and bmx are at a weird cross road at the moment I love both mtb and bmx but i agree mtb is much easier and more of an instant gratification I think the most exciting Mtb riders are ex bmx riders like Dan paley , Dylan stark, I believe what your saying is true all the Mtb jumps are becoming bmx influenced. I think Darkfest is more an influence how mtb is trying to be more of an FMX style event
