Crazy how some people can wash their “nice” cars with a bucket of soapy water and a sponge and call it a day, I’ve always been right into it and so much to learn, I personally think detailing/washing cars should be a recognised trade and I don’t think it will be long till it is, I guess there’s a lot of things we all don’t know about our cars tho, awesome vid man 👌🏼

I got told in the past not to put your microfiber drying towel in the dryer you will ruin the pick up properties of the microfiber as the melting point of the little hook fibres is about 60 degrees.

Yep, air dry only, or you can use the dryer if the tag says so, usually only on the cool setting though.

Lazy wax is f'n awesome. Also naked glass. It is also great for house windows, ANY glass really. But yea, especially for cars as you don't want ammonia like windex has, it destroys your tint. Don't wash your engine bay, especially with a pressure washer. A damp cloth will do. Use your vinyl weapon of choice on the plastic. I use 303. Same as wheels, use a vinyl cleaner (again, I use 303 which also is a protectant), to bring the natural black out, silicone products make them look unnatural. A tip for doing tyres, do the top half, roll the car a half wheel rotation, do the top half again. Proper coverage and no product on your floor. Also since everyone has an opinion on cleaning, mine is don't use a pressure washer to rinse. You want to saturate, not blast low amounts of water as pressure washers are flow restrictors. You want the soap product gone, so just use a normal hose pressure attachment. Use pressure washers to blast the mud off your 4x4 or clean the cement floor, not your car, they're a terrible tool for that.

U should get some caps for your rims on the falcon. U can get some cool ones off eBay like for example there are ones that look like bullets or dice. There r heaps off different ones to choose from.

That soap you used doesnt seem too flash, give nv snow a go. Its what i use then i top my car with nv lustre every few weeks. Works a treat

instead of using he meguires interior cleaner i have found auto glym interior shampoo cleans while doing what the bowdens vinyl care does at the same time i don't use many of their products but i can recommend the interior shampoo

Personally id go a Klin Duo Towel. Its much bigger and dries the entire car without streaking and no wringing at all. had mine for years now and wash it each time and is still like new.

Kenzo's lost a lot of surface tension. I would put that down to the Elixir, as its polymer based properties will impede the coatings performance. Should only be using IGL Premier as its developed with the same technology, and boosts Kenzo's performance. Plus, it can be used as a drying aid.. Cody should have it in stock.
