Henry, Patrick & ‪@ciarancarlin‬ ‪@ciarancarlinfc‬ have each been given £1,000,000,000 and will bid for the Premier League's best players like Erling Haaland, Mohamed Salah & Bukayo Saka to create the best team! For me this video has great potential but needs alot more structure. 1) The contestants need to know it's a team for one game. 2) A need for clearly defined positions. Eg this player has to play RW. 3) There should only be 2 players offered for each position in a 4-3-3. Host gives a third worse player for between 15 - 35 million if they miss out on the 2 biddable options. 4) Graphics of the teams necessary. Good Luck! To tack on to this comment: 5) Make the contestants draw physical cards of the players and let the contestants make the initial bid for the player they draw 6) Add ‘reserve prices’ to all players that trigger fun consequences if not met (so they still get the player if reserve is not met but they get a consequence too) Examples consequences could be: the next player you sign has an extra 30 million signing on fee, you can only make a max of one bid on the next player, your next signing cannot be the same nationality as the player bought, you can now only sign two players from this players team, etc

Usually in sports auctions, specifically cricket, they tend to do it by skillset/positions so that there are more bids and the price goes up because you either bid up for the best player or are left with shit ones so you are forced to overpay. With the way you did it, one person had their attack sorted whilst the other had their midfield so there wasn't really much of a bidding war. Something to consider for next time maybe. Would love another auction one with more guests invovled on the same budget or same number of guests on lower budgets since everyone had money to spare on this one.

Did enjoy but wonder if it can be tweaked. Get for the title £1 billion is better, but budget should be lower, averaging almost £100m per player feels a bit extreme and means no one will ever really have to go for a stinker of a player. Wonder if you literally halve the budget. Also starting bids need to begin lower, maybe could be based on their transfermarkt value as that way it’s locked in to begin with, as randomly stating player prices to try and level the board doesn’t quite work. Also people should be allowed to buy as many players as they want, just at the end they can only field 11. Means you can bid spitefully and stop someone from getting too much of a bargain
