Leslie Comstock ....Since the show originated in the UK shouldn't it be referred to as "The Office" and the American version called the "American Office"...... Well, at least now the Americans keep a similar name and give credit when they copy a UK show, unlike in the 1970's when they directly stole TV shows, with minor changes, to,suit the more conservative American audiences, and took credit for them. (See Norman Lear regarding this issue.)
