That was a great video Zack. Very informative. 1963 LTA Marine base. Tustin California. Dr No is the first movie I remember seeing with my Dad. Three years after the movie came out. He taught me to shoot his Walther PP in 380. It has two German Eagles on it. Incredible blues. 2024 * 63 I still enjoy shooting this gun very much. But always wanted a model 34 Beretta just for comparison. I kinda wanted to be Q. He made the coolest sh tuff.

Hello from an italian descendant from Brazil! Nice video on a nice gun. There's an ammendment I need to do, though. I used to think that what held the barrel forward on firing, was the magazine lip below the follower, because it does, ALSO. However what really locks it is the disassembly lever. When you turn it back for disassembly, its axis presents a cut, which allows the barrel to move back. When turned forward, its axis' round surface locks into an arch cut on the barrel foot. Your comment is still correct that it is a very ingenious system, actually more than you thought, since, its the recoil spring bearing against the same cut on that lever which gives it the spring tension to snap it forward, thus preventing it to turn backwards during operation, without the need of a separeted spring. What about that? These are somewhat common in Brazil in its sister models, the 1935, which is in .32 ACP/7,65mm and the 1948 on .22 LR Keep up the good work
