To me, Beyonce is a student of the legends who have come before her. She’s using music to make cultural and political impact and effect her community which is why she challenges herself with every project. I feel like this is reflected in how she lives her life. Taylor swifts artistry stems from self-involvement and it’s continued to be that way. Even if she postures feminism, it’s white feminism- it’s bland and she has no nuance or noticeable politique in her music because she’s obsessed with not offending anyone and being palatable. I think they are beside each other in terms of success and talent, they are just 2 completely different artists. To say "Taylor doesn't touch Beyonce" is just factually wrong because they have both made history, and have both become mega stars. If you're going to make that statement, than the same can be said that "Beyonce can't touch Taylor" because look at the numbers alone, she completely outclasses Beyonce on the charts, sales, etc. So like I said, they both are legendary at different things, and they deserve equal recognition.

I was with you until you compared them to Kendrick and Drake. Some of Drake’s music is actually good especially his earlier music. Kendrick seems forced to a degree. Beyoncé on the other hand is not forced like her haters try to make it seem. Taylor’s music isn’t good. Just history repeating itself sadly… This same thing happened with Michael Jackson when he was deemed, and globally regarded as The King Of Pop, and #1 (a Title he WORKED HARD from since the age of 5 for) and he outsold his “Caucasian” predecessors: Elvis, and The Beatles etc., AND not to mention the fact that he OWNED The Beatles entire music catalog! I agree with every artist you listed! Honestly they always get overlooked. I have them all on my playlists and they dominated the music charts and were trending. But I think to not have Taylor on the list at all isn’t fair either. Taylor has demonstrated longevity. She found a way to dominate in pop and folk music. Not many people can still stay relevant as long. Her music is very emblematic. She’s very into the storytelling. I mean her career began with “Love Story” and “You Belong with Me”. She likes the theatrics of a love story. Her themes have always been about that. And when I want to reflect and think, her music is very that. Reminds of snuggling and reading a good book. TS is the dream and the hope for the musician and the old school boards/committees that grew up on Simon & Garfunkel, Paul McCartney and Joni Mitchell. She will always be the favor because she writes, she plays instruments and she does her own material. Very empowering, very impressive and beyond just her mere existence, she has middle America and well to do america by the handfuls. Politically, she's a doll. She's still after Beyonce. The comparsion, the idea that Beyonce is overrated is so tired. They're most likely basing that off of the reality that there are multiple songwriters and producers for her material comparable to TS, but the material, the standard and influence is on a totally different level from Beyonce. The hatred of BEyonce is not new, the north remembers it all started when she was the lead singer of DC, and was in overdrive the moment the 2 original members were booted from the group. The delulu was from that time too; imagine buying front row tickets just to put up a hater sign lol. make it make sense.

I think the comparison between Taylor and B isn’t fair in any way because it’s apples and oranges!
