I'd kill for footage of the Lateralus tour. Not sure if you went or not, but they had the contortionist creatures from Schism walking around the stage and hanging upside down for a while. I can remember that tour like it was yesterday.

When bands stopped putting out live dvds and were streaming everything on KZbin, around 2012 that started, they cheated themselves out of millions and destroyed an entire segment of their industry. You couldn't download a DVD as well as you could an album. People had to go buy them and often, bands we're talking about, were so good they should've put out 3 or 4, whereas U2 have like 30 DVD releases. And guess what....they still sell a lot of em....

He's done this since aenima. Did it with a perfect circle too. The closest you get to him being a front man is with Puscifer, but even then he's normally wearing a mask etc. There's all sorts of rumours about it being due to stage fright, he's also said that he finds the audio mix better at the back of the stage for him, and he likes to watch Danny. He'll never go back to standing at the front now 🤷
