It’s a really sad thing to watch and experience as well because they have been such crucial parts of the community. I'm 41 and Xbox 360 was my fave system ever Atari was mind blowing was never a fan of Nintendo, Nintendo 64 was breathtaking, PlayStation was convenient ps2 was okay Xbox was dope and next Gen systems are to transactional. I have over 150 OG Xbox and Xbox 360 games I play on my series X everyday and they run and look much better than they do on the 360. I still keep my 360 for attachment reasons but it’s completely and 100% obsolete if you have a series X!!! (Minus the few games that don’t work but that’s the developers fault)

The first time i played Minecraft and Halo was on my old childhood 360 i had tons of other games but i remember those two the best. i miss it was such a solid console Its design was also so cool. whenever i see a 360 i just get hit with a wave of nostalgia. The Xbox 360 was my teen years, I had the Xbox 360 Core 4GB and it lasted me a few years till it fried, later on I got the Xbox 360 Slim a week after release at I still have it today and it's still fun to play on it 😊.

Over the years, I have accumulated hundreds of games, Given to me by friends updating their systems and not thinking they needed the 360 anymore. I just picked up a dirty, untested Slim for 13 bucks. I cleaned it and replaced the thermal paste. It works and looks brand new. I forgot how great this system is. I love it.

Still got my 360 and yes some games have not aged well but a vast majority still hold out. Every time the boot screen kicks in I get a feeling of nostalgia. I'm currently playing wolverine origins which is very good and my next game is Transformers fall of Cybertron. Honestly if you used to have a 360 and got rid it would be worth picking up another for cheap.

For me I was in a family who loved consoles. So I grew up with the wii, 360 and PS3. My personal favorite though will always be the DS. Had one since I was 3 and still use it to this day. Old consoles were really something else

I recently went out and got a new Xbox 360 and even ps2 in the last year or 2 ( thanks microplay stores 😂). I have a ps4 and are planning to get a ps5 soon but I have to say hell yeah I still love the Xbox 360 and it’s games. BO2 is legendary. Personally I like hack n slash games ninja gaiden series, metal gear rising, the darkness 1 and 2, darksiders series, DMC and more. Halo of course honestly if you haven’t experienced the Xbox 360 yet and your a gamer id recommend it

Bought one of these about a month ago. Been wanting to play my old games again. Been having a blast. Love my PS5 but the games today in my opinion just can't match the games from that generation. Most games today are made with profit in mind first. Games back then were made with passion in turn getting the profit. Some of them (Fight Night champion, the FEAR's, Gears of War etc.) still hold up today and are a blast to play.

Xbox 360 was my first console and my first game on it when gta 5 when I was 5, I have the 2005 Xbox and it still works fine I this day, it’s really dusty and some buttons on the console such as the power button and the sync button but the controller buttons still work and a play my 360 all the time

The Xbox 360 will always be an iconic console because it offers the most expansive gaming library of any Xbox console. Glad I replaced my red ringed falcon model from 2008 with the super reliable Jasper v2 model from late 2009 so I can continue enjoying my collection of 360 games.

Watching this after a chilled evening of playing Battlefield 4 and MOH Warfighter, which I spent a combined £3 on, on my 360 which I paid £20 for including accessories. The games still look great (later releases bordering on XB One quality), play great, and are absolutely dirt cheap. Single player campaigns actually had thought put into them and weren't just a tack on to the multiplayer. Total antidote to modern gaming. Long live the 360.

Then 10 years later I discovered there are all these unique action and role playing games I never even knew about at the time and now I really want to collect and play since that was such a good time for gaming. My favorite games from the console were Halo 3, GTA 4, Oblivion, and Fallout 3.

My only problem with the 360 store shutting down is that games that arent backwards compatible on Xbox One or Series X yet won't be playable until they decide or if they can make it backwards compatible with licensing and etc
