I don't get how you can ride that much in one weekend and still keep a good place like that, and not have your body just shut down😁😁. Great job Zach and to all the riders that actually rode the whole thing. That's gnar. Great vid!

Just saw this video, awesome. This old dude from western NY rode the Cord with six buddies way back In 1972 on a 360 Yamaha. They alll dnf but I did. One guy kept on passing me on the rocks. Found out later he had three lbs in his tires. His wheels were oblong when he finished. It was a two day, 350 mile event back then.

You know how I know I was intently watching this race? I actually did remember that tight spot from Friday. Good work my dude. My biggest fear (other than getting slammed to the ground by gravity) is continually taking wrong turns.

That second “bridge” is actually called a corduroy, hints the name of the enduro
@markmtbrider4 жыл бұрын
For sure, to call that haphazard collection of construction materials strewn about a bridge is being quite generous.....yikes!
@0xsergy4 жыл бұрын
I had to cross a bridge like that except the guys just kept stacking pallets until it was 5 feet tall. Goddamn impossible to ride up it in the rain. Wood + mud+ rain = bad time

This race looks epic!! I wouldn't worry about the bar to bar racing, thats why its called racing!! Just sucks when you make an aggressive pass and then fall. Lmao. You did great though!!
@za1racing4 жыл бұрын
That's the advantage of Enduro's, there isn't the increased risk like in bar to bar racing. Of course, when you're "sprinting" at your max speed through the woods, the risk of bar to bar racing doesn't sound as bad lol.
@austinmalottLeadTheTrail4 жыл бұрын
Now when you put it that way it does not. Lol. I am hoping to try a few Enduros next season. I just came off of my first season of XC racing. I grew up racing motocross. Your videos are making me itch to try some for sure!!

Man nice battle with Cam. Must be hard to ride your own line when you're pushing up from behind so close and aggressive.Gotta hug a tree….I laughed. On that metric I'm a frickin environmental extremist. Wish I had even half the skills. PS I have this idea about a vid series with people I'd like to ride with, you're on my list. PSS the waterfall is usually run the other direction and the "we have another bridge" is what is called corduroy bridge, logs dropped across swampy sections. Hence the name, Corduroy Enduro.

I like the challenge of the hard enduros. They make you think and work in ways different than just holding the throttle wide open. Now and then I like the faster stuff though!
@singletrackmarc8194 жыл бұрын
That's why I like the hard stuff so much is it kind of levels the playing field it's not just about outright speed And we have way more of the hard stuff here in east tn than we do the fast stuff
