What is really fresh about all of this is that he, with no warning, releases his track on youtube which is a homemade video performance of that track. It's not a super polished track that has gone through 14 songwriters, engineers and studio executives, with a marketing team and a plan behind it - you get a real performance from a real artist, firsthand. I admire this so much, keep doing you Zach. You're changing the game

THICE perfectly said, why I have loved his music since the first time I heard it sometime in September, he wasn’t pumping social media to direct people to his stuff it’s more if you found it you thank the stars you did!!

he did the whole album this way and released it on spotify and named it after his mother who past. maybe this is the way real music comes back. fuck the video stars.

Zach, I don’t know if you’ll ever see this. But I’ve dug into your lyrics of literally all of your songs. You and I have a lot in common. We have both lost our mother early...in one of your songs, you referenced joining the Navy, we both pluck a 6 string... all your lyrics just hit home so fucking hard for me. I jam your shit daily, on Spotify, SoundCloud and here on KZbin. I really hope you blow up and keep making beautiful music.

Well I barely know if I’ll be alive tomorrow Let alone if the people I trust will stay Well I’m needing while I’m breathing is to be content this evening Find hope in tomorrow either way And I don’t think those city girls are right for me Cus I don’t fall for shallow pleasantries And the conversations nice but all the talking don’t seem right. To a soul that prefers silence and the trees And this worlds expecting so much from a man who gets so wrecked on Saturdays that he can barely stand So if you could cut some slack, I got some good times on my lap And I’d like to feel them all while I still can Cus I got hope in tomorrow and regret in yesterday So if you could find a way to forgive me Then maybe I could find just a little piece of mind and carry on tomorrow hopefully And carry on tomorrow hopefully And this worlds expecting so much from a man. Who gets so wrecked on Saturdays that he can barely stand. So if you could cut some slack, I got some good times on my lap and I’d like to feel them all while I still can Cus I got hope in tomorrow and regret in yesterday So if you could find a way to forgive me Maybe I could find just a little peace of mind and carry on tomorrow hopefully Carry on tomorrow hopefully.
