@@shedoesconcerts5762 I never said that Zayn didn’t speak candidly. He seems to be very private and emotionally driven. Obviously doesn’t like the media attention. In my opinion(which I know doesn’t speak for anyone else for sure), he still, if nominated, would’ve attended this year. Again, next year is a much different situation. I’m sure there will be more artists that don’t even send their music for consideration. When you aren’t nominated and then say there is a problem, it just doesn’t have the same impact. The Weekend had his music at the top of the charts FOREVER, so hearing from him was a little different. But the Grammys should be for artistry and the impact of music to fellow artists, etc., not just popularity to the masses. I do understand that popularity may be because of a new type of music, so that should be considered also. To close...the Grammys needs to clean house and do what they are suppose to do, not what is politically/socially acceptable at the time. Insinuating, in Zayn’s emotional first tweet, that the winners were bribing to get nominations, was, well...unfortunate. I’m sure all of the nominees worked very hard to get where they are also. I look forward to hopefully seeing/hearing his interview/performances. The more people that don’t know his music can see/hear him, the more people will appreciate his talent!!!!

Man I was terribly charmed by Zayn throughout my teens. He was everything I wanted to be, he just oozed this cool about him. There really isn't a way to describe it. Guys you smashed it. This was an amazing interview. Too short. Can you believe I've been a fan of his for 6 years and this is the first time I've ever heard him speak about his creative process in a real way? It's kinda sad if you think about it. But he's been so honest with us in the past about his struggles and anxieties around performing and doing in person interviews etc. So I understand him. He's a sweet soul. I love him to bits. Thank you for this guys. ❤️
