It’s crazy because gigabyte vision cards can be crazy expensive or crazy cheap… I got my 3070 ti DURING THE GPU CRISIS on a $200 off sale for just $700. I didn’t even realize that these cards are the ones that pros use in their white pc builds, and it has customizable RGB

I bought my 3080 vision off facebook marketplace during the start of the crypto decline for $750, still had warranty too, wasnt mined, used by actual gamer. Still have it with me. Undervolts very well with marginal performance loss. Also replaced the thermal pads on mine, memory doesn't see over 72c under a full gaming load, gpu core temps dont reach over 68c

If you want a Alternative with 8gb more of Vram then this same build could be done for $840 if you can find a Rx 6800 for $390 or less used or try and find a 6800xt for the same price used.

5600G? can you run a AMD CPU type "G" with an external dedicated GPU?

@@GeekendZone yes you can. But keep in mind that it is a G series chip meaning it has integrated graphics, so a discrete gpu isn’t nessisary for low end games/basic computing. But you can pair a gpu with this cpu, just know that the integrated graphics will be disabled if you do use that combination. Definitely great for troubleshooting purposes if the dedicated gpu fails. You CAN also use both integrated graphics and discrete graphics for display out, you just have enable a setting in the bios (different for each manufacturer, just google based on your motherboard brand) Keep in mind though that the 5600g only runs in pcie 3.0 mode so try to stick with a gpu that supports 3.0 mode. If you go with pcie 4.0 gpu it will still work but you will loose a little bit of performance, and I will say since commenting on this reply a year later, back when I had that combination it worked perfectly fine. But now I have a full pcie 4.0 system. I also benchmarked pcie 3.0 vs 4.0 and found that 3.0 only had a few less frames so it wasn’t a noticeable difference. Hope this helps.
