Not merely sequels. Part Two to the story...the League hasn't formed yet. It's just a temporary alliance of heroes. The League would form in Part Two with Green Lantern. Notice they don't mention the name "Justice League" anywhere. This movie was initially officially titled Justice League Part One before the "Part One" was removed two months later by the incompetent execs responsible for the 2017 debacle.

The Black Suit that superman is wearing is known as the solar suit, it helps superman absorb solar radiation more effectivly to restore his powers to full.

There is an alternate version of the Justice League from the "Arrowverse" TV shows which consisted of Arrow (Stephen Amell starred as Oliver Queen, aka The Green Arrow), The Flash (Grant Gustin as Barry Allen, not Ezra Miller), Supergirl (Melissa Benoist played Superman's cousin and a different version of Superman was also introduced to the show later on), Bat Woman (Ruby Rose played as Bruce Wayne's cousin in an alternate universe where Batman had been killed), Legends of Tomorrow (A cast of heroes from several of the other shows in this list as a group of time travelling heroes), and a short-lived series called Black Lightning. It was a really great lineup for a while before it all got stale.

Simple explanation of the time thing - As you move faster toward the speed of light time slows down, it is theorized at the speed of light time no longer has meaning as you will see everything from the beginning of the universe to the end happening simultaneously, then it is just a matter of picking what time/event you want, go to that time/event, and then hit the brakes so time returns to normal pace. However nothing in real life can move the speed of light, it would take infinite energy to accelerate anything with mass to the speed of light. If you want to know more look into E=MC2 and time dilation. Little foot note, clocks on gps satellites have to be constantly adjusted for time dilation because they are orbiting at just high speed otherwise after just a few minutes gps would be miles off.

This version of the movie was way better than the original movie especially when they brought Superman back from the dead and he wore the black suit with a silver S on it, just like in the comics! 😁

@@rickymoranjr9609 The suit has the House of El Symbol so it is not Zod suit. Clark get the suit from the same place that he got the first red and blue suit. There are many different suits on that ship, and they all belong to the Housse of El. But it did kind of look like Zod suit.

Martian Manhunter is really OP’d. his biggest weakness is that he’s somewhat of a pacifist. And then also a psychological weakness to fire.

Well remember in BvS he had that vision like at the end of this movie. Idea is Darkseid comes to Earth and turns Superman evil "somehow". Like you see Darkseid put his hand on Superman's shoulder in Cyborg's vision when resurrecting Superman. There are more details but I don't want to necessarily spoil it.

Thanks for the react. 🙂 I thought I would add a few points to clarify some of the scenes. 1. Ryan Choi (the dude in the science lab, who gets his new badge) he actually becomes the new "Atom", a superhero and a member of the Justice League. It was a nice acknowledgement of his character. 2. Martian Manhunter (the shape-changer) is one of the main members of the Justice League (and also one of the most powerful, even up there with Superman). As to why he was basically undercover in this movie wasn't explained, but there are some theories. 3. The end sequence with the evil superman is basically a teaser for the next movie (\which hasn't happened), but you have the "Nightmare Justice League", made up of Batman, Flash, Cyborg, Hera, Deathstroke and Joker. This is an insane combination of people but I'm STILL 100% ready for it! 😂💪

You remember that you saw glimpses of another timeline where Superman is evil. You started seeing them in Batman v Superman. The visions. The flying parademons. A world where Darkseid has conquered Earth. Harley Quinn, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, and Lois Lane are all dead. This timeline is inevitable unless the Flash is able to time travel and set things right. That's what Zack Snyder's Justice League 2 movie was going to be. The bad guys winning. Justice League 3 would have Green Lanterns and Flash getting the time travel right and preventing all these deaths and defeating Darkseid. The bad guy with the patch is Deathstroke. He's a bad guy like Joker. But good guys and bad guys had to unite in an apocalyptic world where Darkseid ruled and used Superman as his henchman. The key to making sure Superman doesn't go rogue is Lois Lane. That's what Flash told Bruce Wayne in Batman v Superman, waking up from another vision in the batcave. Also, the key to stopping Darkseid is finding the Anti-Life Equation on Earth before Darkseid does. Also, the shape-shifting alien is the Martian Man-Hunter. He pretended to be Superman's mom in order to help Lois move on. -OG

You gotta watch the Justice League cartoon & the guy in the orange & black suit is Slade aka Deathstroke he’s a Teen Titans villian mainly, the teen titans is lead by Robin Dick Grayson the first Robin . He’s so badass & Martian manhunter is amazing , there’s more in the DC animated shows & films you gotta see the live action movies don’t touch on

Every couple of months I search for new reactions to ZSJL and seeing someone enjoy the movie as much as you did always brings a tear to my eye. Having been a part of the “crazy” Snyder fans that asked and pushed for it to be released year after year on all platforms.. reactions like this makes it worth it. (The 2017 JL is directed by the Avengers director Joss Whedon. Snyder “left” the production after his daughter died. WB executives quickly replaced him with Whedon, and changed a lot of the story and character dynamics, DRASTICALLY reduced the Character of Victor/Cyborg and inserted many “jokes”. They made a movie for marvel fans. But Marvel fans didn’t care about DC/JL, the DC fans were overall disappointed by the movie, and Snyderfans began the petition to Release The Snyder Cut.) Yeah, the epilogue is a bit too long, should have ended with the shot of Superman. The Lex and Knightmare scenes could have been post credits… but it is what it is…. And yes, the “Knightmare” that Bruce sees in BvS and this epilogue, is a vision of an alternate universe, but if he is not careful it could happen to him too! Sadly, this movie and Aquaman 1 is where the “Snyderverse” ends (other movies like Flash, Aquaman 2, Black Adam or WW1984, are part of what’s called the “HamadaVerse”), would have LOVED a Cyborg movie! But so much has changed since 2017… still, we keep some hope alive, that one way or another, Snyder gets to finish his JL story…

Zack Snyder's Justice League is like a whole other movie compared to the 2017 theatrical version. 2017 film doesn't even showcase Darkseid at all. Which makes no sense. Darkseid is the ultimate villain. He's who Steppenwolf is working for. The Anti-Life Equation on Earth is all about Darkseid. Also, you don't learn Jack about who Cyborg is in the 2017 film. Presentation is everything. Joss Whedon directing the 2017 film had a different interpretation of the same Justice League characters. Where Zack Snyder took it to a much more elevated level. -OG

There is actually a Snyder cut version of Zack Snyder's Justice League. Wayne T. Carr was suppose to be Green Lantern. It was already filmed and post was completed. But the geniuses at WBD cut it out. Everything DCEU movie released after 2021 is suspect after Discovery bought Warner Bros from AT&T. Rather than sheparding the DCEU into health, they decided to modify the remaining DCEU movies into a forced conclusion. Reboot yet again. Next year we will have the fourth iteration of Superman coming to the big screen. David Corenswet really is Superman if he can pull off the character in that lazy costume. WBD stock went from $77 down to $12 today. Let's see what happens next year.

Not sure why you're (jokingly?) putting yourself down more often than not. Yeah, you may not be a physicist but didn't you use to study psychology? And that particular expertise shines through when you're addressing each character's growth, albeit briefly. You could serve up some off-the-cuff analyses or even superficial diagnoses because that's your forte.

The animated Justice League is still vastly better. Martian Manhunter is a founding member of the JL. Normally it is Batman, Superman and Martian Manhunter.
