The characters were better developed. The fight scenes were longer and better. But the thing I appreciated the most was he took away the forced humor one liners, and made it a more serious movie.

@@assassinsknight He left some of the funny lines in the movie. "I bought the bank" and "What's your super power? I'm rich".But he took away some of the failed attempts at humor. Such as Barry's brunch rant. Humor is a useful tool in a dark movie like this,comic relief is a good thing. But the comedy needs to be funny and used more sparingly like Snyder did.

From the directors cut of BVS and now justice league it’s clear Snyder knows what he’s doing you can see what comics he’s influenced from he’s not making a comic accurate movie he’s making his own section of the multiverse a darker version (I find it to not be too dark compared to some versions of the characters) TLDR: #restorethesnyderverse

Hey Zack, I just watched this movie, and it's really really good! The threads fit together nicely, and it works as a really high quality miniseries. I didn't see the theatrical cut, but I liked the meditative pace and the sumptuous visuals. Was that Nick Cave song in the theatrical version? Wonderfully sad and beautiful song about grief.
