To make it clear once again: Here, a 10-year-old girl - a little sick after catching a cold due to bare feet - sings a song with memorised lyrics in the presence of the composer, accompanied by a large, loud orchestra, standing alone several metres in front of the musicians, with a hood over her ears that impairs the sound and makes it impossible to see her colleagues, fogged in by a fog machine, in front of an audience that sings along loudly, and all this in the presence of film cameras that record the whole thing for an audience of millions. Seriously - just one of the above points would make me shit my pants. Angelina has always been a little trooper.

I"ve been a subscriber for a little while. At least since you seemed like you were going head first into the rabbit hole. This used to be an Alan Walker video of 2 songs and the Sunday intro. The songs Sing Me To Sleep and Faded. Somewhere along the line, someone split it up for no apparent reason. Drives me crazy. Be sure to react to Faded. This video version did have a few words upfront that I had not heard. One thng that stood out to me: She had a cold or something and her voice cracked a couple of times. I didn't hear it in this. Corrected? If my hearing is off let me know.

The only problem with this particular video is, Angelina's voice cracked at one point in the song and Alan decided to "fix" that for his upload. (It happened on the word "song" the first time she sang the line "song in every breath", at 6:25 in this reaction.) Presumably he thought he was doing her a favor, but I'm sure if he had asked her beforehand, she would have told him not to worry about it. (She's posted plenty of self-recorded videos containing small imperfections like that. I think it's pretty obvious that she doesn't value "vocal perfection" over other considerations, like getting the feeling of the song right.) Other people have posted unmodified versions of both of her performances from this concert - this one and "Faded" - captured directly from the live stream.
