Next Q&A: Obviously you have kept *extremely* good track of the balls you've snagged. But have you ever realized later that you forgot to count one, or counted one twice, and had it screw up your total? And what would you do if someone who had been at the same game as you looked at a 10-year-old blog entry and showed you proof that you had snagged a ball you forgot to document, and you remembered the moment and believed them? Would you have to go and update the stats on *every* single blog entry that came after? And would then have to say all your numerical milestone balls were obtained from *different* players than you've thought? I realize the chances of this happening are 0%, but just wondering what you'd do.

T. Wendell was cool with the fans. Back when I was getting autographs pretty heavily at Turner Field in 2001 - he would pull up on a Harley no less as a visiting player (no team bus or cab for him) and hang out with us fans rather than go on in to the stadium. Signed whatever you wanted. Watched him sign some ladies purse. He definitely stood out.

I have a unique connection to Curtis Pride that I bet most people won’t know about. He played for one season (his last season of playing if I’m not mistaken) with the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs of the Atlantic League and I have his baseball card from them. The Blue Crabs are only 10 minutes from my house so I used to go to a bunch of games when I was younger. The Atlantic League is definitely worth a look if you’re near a team!

Mad respect for you on talking about Pride and the Expos. I miss them so much I agree one day Montreal will have a team. When I was a kid at one of the Expos games there was Ugeth Urbina surrounded by people as he gave autographs and Curtis Pride I went to Curtis instead he gave me the biggest smile and signed the ball I brought. So kind of him.

I actually got to meet both Cal Ripken Jr and Ozzie Smith in 2016 at the Sports Authority field day in San Diego (Clairemont Little League), the parents kept it a surprise when signing the kids up, and we were all in awe when we saw them on the field after that, one of my fondest baseball memories.

Heres a little known fact about cal Ripken..only few of us in Baltimore know this but... Cal ripkens wife cheated on hin with Kevin Costner..he was so angry he hit her and was arrested ..he was supposed to play a game that day but couldn't cause he was in jail for about 12 hours..this would of ended his streak, so to keep it alive camden yards claimed they had a power outage and the game was postponed until ripkien was outta jail..that stunt saved his streak..
