My baseball bat collection -- game-used, signed by A-Rod, and more!

Want to see the bats that Alex Rodriguez signed for me in exchange for his 3,000th hit baseball? In addition to those, I've gotten lots of other bats from MLB players, some of which are signed, game-used, rubbed with pine tar, and cracked.

My most prized bat (and ball and t-shirt) is signed by Willie Mays, Bobby Thompson and Leo Durocher along with other Giants. This was a result of attending the 1987 SF Giant fantasy camp. Greatest baseball experience of my life! Have you ever attended a fantasy camp?

I have a CJ Cron broken bat from his junior or senior year at highschool. I got it while watching the highschool homerun derby and he gave it to me after he broke it.

I was at a game in 99 at Fenway during BP when Mike Stanley cracked his bat (small one) and walked over and handed it to me. What made this cool was Stanley was one of my fav players after coming over from NY as a FA. It has the 20 on the knob with the Big Stick printed on the barrel along with his name as well as NY YANKEES. The thing that makes that unique is he had been with the Redsox for a few years at that point so for him to still have one of his Yankees bats i found odd...but ball players are weird maybe he just liked that bat...after he was done with his BP he signed the barrel for me...Super nice guy

Zach Hample I was thirteen when I got my first bat from a team for free. As a matter of fact I still have it from the Coastal Plain League for the Wilson Tobs, which as of 2009 most wins they set the most records and firsts beaten the next year when I batboyed. I went to the Wilson Tobs baseball camp which may have members of the 2015 LLWS 2015 North CarolinaState Championship that lost twice in Warner Robins, Georgia. They're were fans in attendance from 2015 LLWS North Carolina at that and the year after that I harbours the whole season + 1 Road Game, also attending a All Star Game. In 2009 Russell Wilson was a member of the CPL.

Awesome Vid Zack! The only bat I have gotten was from Sean Casey. I painted a starting lineup figure in his likeness. It was a triple threat I think they called it. His batting stance, him swinging and the follow through. So it was 3 figures in one box. I painted the first in his Akron Aeros minor league uniform that I saw him play in, then the Cleveland Indians and then the Cincinnati Reds and I mailed it off to him in spring training. A couple weeks later I got a cracked bat from him in the mail back. That was a very cool moment for me and vey cool of him to do that.

As a kid growing up I only practiced using wooden bats because it was heavier than the metal bats I used growing up I stopped playing baseball in highschool because I was being moved around in fostercare and just felt awkward trying to be on a new team with new kids and I grew depressed I wish I didn't stop but practicing with n authentic mlb bat definitely helped me be a better hitter especially since I was switch hitting as well I loved switch hitting

I got a Kennys Vargas game used cracked bat at a Syracuse Chiefs (now mets) game once. I was sitting on the road side one time o change it up and I was holding my little baby cousin on my lap and Vargas yelled to me and pointed to me with the bat and gave it to me. He’s in Japan now but he’s still one of my favorites.

Both a rod bats are p72 models which was also the only model bat the Derek Jeter used for his entire career. After Jeter retired, louisville slugger also retired the p72 model in honor of Jeter using it his whole career. I wouldn't doubt if a rod had borrowed or used one of Jeters bats and then adopted the model himself.. the last bit is just my theory and opinion, but hang on to the a rod bats. Best wishes zack.
