I was listening to an Aaron Martens tribute show of the Ultimate Bass radio show the other day when the fishing was super tough. I looked down into the cup holder of my boat and saw 1 Aaron's magic robo worm mixed in the assortment of old baits so I grabbed it and put it on my drop shot rod. First cast I caught a beautiful 4 pound spotted bass that shook off the worm. I never caught another fish that day. I can't help but to think Aaron had something to do with that. Rest easy Spin you are a legend of the sport we all love...

Aaron's magic robo worm is my go to when the fishing is tough here in so cal. I have 4 packs of them in my boat at all times. I have followed Aaron since he was fishing tournaments here in California with his mom. Fishing community definitely lost a great soul.

@kent callies My Dad and I got to eat lunch with Aaron before his elite series win on the CA Delta and he was the most down to earth, coolest guy . My Dad passed away in 2015 and that will forever be one of the best memories of my life. Aaron made a huge impact on this world. We definitely lost a good one...

Mr. Mark...thank u for the touching show.. I lived in your area for a no. of yrs... My first big tnmt win was Coldwater chain..when I was in my 20s...then fished BASS for 6 yrs.. And met Aaron a few times.. Been living south now and pushing 60... I waited a day to respond because I lost my wife to cancer 2 weeks ago..and it took that long for me eyes to clear.. Damn it's an evil disease Bless you sir for such a touching tribute...

Without knowing Aaron on a personal level or meeting him,he single handedly showed me and taught me how to dropshot, how to tie it,rig the worm and snatch the hog that was swimming in the water I fish! This man had a HUGE impact on bass fishing and touched a ton of people! I glad I got to follow him as long as I did and glad he shared his knowledge and passion with us all and Z, what a legend of a viewing you put together,thank you and God bless hog snatcher!

Though I never met Aaron I sure wish I would have. I am grateful that I was able to watch him fish he is my all time favorite fisherman to watch and follow.
