I never heard about Josh Freese before this album came out. I knew that Maynard from Tool was releasing new music with another band and I also knew that Tim Alexander from Primus was in some tracks (The Hollow). But then, listening through the album i realised how cool Josh Freese was and he immediately captured my attention for the effectiveness of his drum parts. He is capable of doing very solid and raw things and suddenly coming up with finesse and taste. One of the greatest.
No editing, no trigger, all done in one take (all mistakes kept, nothing has been fixed)

Grazie. Eh sì Josh Freese è un batterista eclettico ed intelligente che trova il suo habitat migliore nella dimensione Rock in senso lato (dai Vandals a Sting passando per APC e recentemente per Foo Fighter).
