Hi there! Interesting videos. I just want you to know that you may contact me in case you need any additional/special info on Croatia or Slovenia because I live in both at the same time :) If you need help with the language (and/or culture/history), a comment/opinion, anything like that. 0kn, 0US$, free of charge :) Regards.

I was fortunate enough to get to visit Croatia back in 1999 before it got "discovered" -- one of my favorite places on the planet. Suprised it's still that affordable considering how popular it has become. I'm going to add it to my list of one of the places I'll visit again!

Im a digital nomad myself and love the cost of living videos because for example i thought croatia was overpriced based on word of mouth but you guys make zagreb sound very affordable. The other thing i wanna mention to all commenters, is whenever you rent an Airbnb for a month itll naturally cost more than what that apartment would cost for a local who rents it for 1yr long lease with a deposit. That's why they paid $800. Because the renter is giving u the apartment for only one month they have to charge a higher nightly rate simple because after this month they might not rent it to someone for a week or whatever, hence why airbnb comes out more expensive than renting off airbnb and signing a year long lease. Hope that clarifies things to others :) . Cheers
@30AndAWakeUp6 жыл бұрын
Glad you pointed that out to everyone -- when you bounce around from place to place every month so -- $800 a month with all utilities included is a pretty good deal.
@DanegerAndStacey6 жыл бұрын

Hi, i really like what you are doing with your videos and also would like to warn you as a Croatian that Dubrovnik is an insanely pricy city to be staying or eating in. Also if you have the time, the Istria region of Croatia is worth seeing with the roman arena in Pula and really impressive architecture in Poreč and Rovinj.
@DanegerAndStacey6 жыл бұрын
Yup - very good feedback. We've just worked our way down the coast on our cruise and the prices keep getting higher
@none4tube6 жыл бұрын
You need to discover inner Istria with romantic miniature towns/villages, on tops of hills, often above clouds in autumn. They resemble old inner Italy (Molise, Abruzzo...) Places like Motovun, Hum, Roč, Oprtalj, Brtonigla, Momjan, Livade, Višnjan... Especially the gastronomic delights. Truffles, olives, figs, cheese... It's a must. Also the frescos of Beram from the 15th century.

I told you about Tomato, I don't work with them or for them, I just use their services as a mobile network provider.They are not costly it's 70 kuna or around 10$ for 7 Gigabytes of data. I understand that you like T-mobile, but most Croatians tend to avoid them becuase they weren't trasparent to customers in Croatia and we had a lot of problems with the company. If you were staying for a long period of time in Croatia, like 2 years or more, I would tell you to get another provider and never choose any company in Croatia that makes you sign a contract with them for a number of months. I hope you have a nice time on your trip and enjoy your stay here in Croatia.
