I always use him in 9 10 11, and because some comps and my dmg I use Venti way more, when you have HIGH damage Kazuha it's just a DPS loss unfortunately.(I have high cons characters)

I slotted Yelan into my Wanderer team for the first half, losing a shield, but basically just getting good at dodging. It works great because Wanderer flies high enough for Yelan to hit the crab horns lmao

@@Richkero1995 I would use the word "viable" rather than "competitive", and btw not thanks to Dehya 😅 it's like saying that Dori aggravate is fine, like if Dori is the one carrying the team. The problem with Dehya in "hyperburgeon" is that it's just a Kuki hyperbloom team with Dehya messing things up, you can gain some AoE damage from burgeons and overloads but you generally lose even more from the burning aura preventing the generation of more cores and so more hyperblooms. It's still fun to play though, just don't pretend Dehya is helping doing damage. If she is the only trigger in the team... honestly you are just brute forcing with your other characters, she triggers too slowly and has awful uptime, Yoimiya as a burst bot is already better than her even if you need to give her ER. Again, it's still fun and depending on the investment in your supports you can still clear with it, just don't pretend Dehya is helping the team, it's the opposite.

Just as an honourable mention, Dehya hyperburgeon can be quite amazing in "one shot" combos where, after Nahida, you spam all the bursts with Ayato, Kuki and lastly Dehya. Great against the triple Kenki and other unmovable enemies grouped up. If your investment is enough you can even manage to kill them in one go... but again it's a "one shot" strategy and requires all the bursts ready. If it fails, well... you can still continue with Nahida, Ayato and Kuki alone anyway

For anyone who only has a freeze team and a hyperbloom team built: Run through with hyperbloom on side 1 and freeze on side 2. Get your 3 stars on the first two chambers. When you get to chamber three, quit the run. Restart it with freeze on side 1 and hyperbloom on side 2. Slot lynette in as the flex in your hyperbloom team to deal with the cryo shield in chamber 3. Just focus on surviving the first two chambers and going into chamber 3 with bursts up.

Kinda just beat it with freeze on the first side and double hydro hyperbloom on the second side. My teams are super invested though, in the end the damage was high enough that wating for the cryo shield to go away didn't matter pretty much.

The thing with Wanderer and Xingqiu against the Pyro frog is that he can fly up and stay near the horns and both Xingqiu’s burst swords and his E’s hydro coverings will hit the horn all the time.

People should enjoy the next 2 cycles of this rotation because i'm guessing the more characters they release that have the new light/dark (pneuma/ousia) sub-typing, the more mobs they'll introduce that will require those mechanics to be used.

Just a random tip is that when starting chamber 2 against the crab you can -dash fowards to avoid the spawn atk, use Childe's E and Kazuha's burst, it will become hydro and can save a lot of time for the first Xiangling's burst to deal dmg

One thing to keep in mind in regards to HP in 12-3 scaling higher than the other 2 chambers, you may also be coming into 12-3 with 2 Abyss Benedictions from the previous chambers. With that said, what Zajef said about HP scaling in 12-3 will probably still apply to Nilou Bloom teams since they only tend to care about the Benediction that gives EM. I get the feeling that the Emperor of Fire and Iron was supposed to be Pyro Regisvine 2: The One That Is Actually Reasonably Difficult in Floor 12. They have similar mechanics where they have Pyro Armor that provides them a large amount of RES and stuns them when broken, and (at least when the Pyro Regisvine's weak point is on the corolla) can only be attacked after the boss attacks unless you have a ranged character. As for Maguu Kenki, I may just not be as familiar with it as Zajef, but even before 4.0 it didn't get trapped against the wall for me as it would use its Blustering Blade attack to teleport back to the center of the arena. One thing I'm glad to see is that we are not being forced to use Arkhe. Let's hope this continues to be the case.

Kenki staying stuck on the stairs is consistent behaviour, but maybe you can accidentally free him somehow, probably if you stay at a distance or stop attacking him when the AI decides the next attack, or maybe sometimes he wasn't exactly on the stairs.

I was WONDERING why my times with Emperor were so inconsistent, thanks for pointing out that his horns have their own seperate hitbox. This could be total horseshit but i think my electro teams were clearing him faster than any of my hydro-centered teams, possibly due overloaded potentially making a new hitbox and reacting with his shield independently of the attack that triggered it (or maybe the horns take extra damage to blunt, im just kinda guessing here".

I used Ayato Burgeon with XQ/Nahida/Thoma on first half. Thoma's shield kinda helps a bit against the Emperor's fire attacks and Ayato+XQ duo depletes his shield quickly. On 2nd half I used my main team, Itto geo team with Gorou, ZL and 4th slot is oppa Xiangling to help against cryo Cicin and Coppelius' shield. Looking forward to use my Lyney on next abyss cycle since he's almost build good.

15:28 I played Qiqi Hyperfridge, if that even counts as hyperfridge with her slow Cryo application =D. I mostly did it because I figured I could put Raiden as the hyperbloomer since she should hit the horns of the emperor, but I don't like using her over Kuki because of the lack of healer. So slotted in Qiqi and used her on field to get more healing for her clam procs =D.

Yeah Qiqi Hyperfridge is funnily a good team, her Cryo application is slower than most other Cryo units but her physical dmg is buffed by occasional Superconduct and she can deal the full damage of Clam that way too.

this abyss was a bit funny for me when it comes to freeze. ayaka freeze on side 1 and nahida hyperbloom on side 2 (ayaka/kokomi/rosaria/kazuha + xingqiu/nahida/yelan/shinobu) made my experience really smooth. what ayaka lost in time to the single target bosses hyperbloom made up for in spades, meanwhile ayaka cleared 12-3-1 in such record time that team 2 had no problem just waiting coppelius's shield out and then nuking with plenty of time to spare

​@@MrPimentel12 you still can, like no-hit runs against aggressive enemies while using naked characters, it's not Dark Souls but not even eating candies, also there's a madlad that cleared this Abyss using only XQ-Fischl and Bennett-Xiangling (all C6) with 4S weapons and honestly not even particularly crazy artifacts, to achieve that they had also to rely on some very smart AI manipulations, on top of managing health and dodges to maximise damage output, it's very far from "easy", I couldn't do that even with that investment unless I spent days perfecting the strategy.

They do, but only every 3 hits/2.5s because of her E Skill's ICD since the crab's horns' health are counted as an elemental shield but with a seperate hitbox than the main body - thus only taking damage when you apply an element, not when you land an elemental attack.

12-2-1 with Raiden Hyper (Raiden/Sara/Benett/Kazuha) you can barely break the shield first time it puts it's head down. You have to electro infuse Kazuha Q and hope you get enough Sara Q hits to break it, so that your Raiden Q slash gets to hit the naked crab.

i would like to put a team foward that you didnt mention,i know it as overburn(pyro/dendro/anemo/electro) dont know a different name for it. works wonders on the 2nd half esp. if you are using lynette as the vv anemo unit her taunt and infusion and swirl have good value also ousia. helps alot with a certain construction meka and dancebot. my own version is most likely a weak version of it due to my playstyle(dehya(c1)/nahida(c2)/lynette(c1)/dori(c6)) all build with high em focus lynnette with high er(fav r5),vv to up the overload and burning dmg(honestly impressed of doris 20k overloads and 2.5k or crit 5k burning procs) dori with decent critrate for r5 fav and 25k hp for her heals, dehya uses beacon as it gives her the most amount of total stats(also stylepoints) that she would want and gilded 4pc to max the odd burgeon on floor 12-1 or if she were to steal burning/overloads,honestly still surprised to see her burst to 13-14k per punch on an em focused build(702 em pre gilded 4pc) but c1,beacon and vv go BRRR nahida has deepwood with 3x em mainstats to supplement the teams burning dmg with her c2 and dreams r1. for most players this would be easier to pull off with the likes of kazuha/sucrose and kuki instead,unsure if dehya can be replaced by thoma for the 12-3 boss given that these 2 are the only real defensive pyros we got for something like this,i dont count xinyan who would need an absurd amount of substats to make an em build workable with how much def her shield needs and er her burst to upkeep that shield at all against solo targets.

I have got to say, I have had very different experiences to what is stated here. Chamber 1, Side 2 is nothing like this for me, the Cicin Mage does not move near the Mek most of the time and the huge machine spawns where I am, chasing me down. None of this "eventually will come to you" stuff, the darned thing is constantly knocking me around without replacing a character with a shielder. >.< Chamber 2, Sides 1 and 2 are both a time sink; double Hydro + Electro + Nahida's Q (no E/NA/CA) only makes it so that you may have time to get up to 2-stars in the next side, (I never did). Chamber 3, Side 2 is such a ball a- I mean, a pain. Double Pyro + VV Anemo + Shielder gives 1-star in the end, (other combinations did not make it this far). Most "successful" Teams attempted from this video (Stars : 2-1-1) : 1. Yelan - Xingqiu (C6) - Kuki (C3) - Nahida 2. [Various combo.s] Most commonly Venti / Kazuha / Bennett (C5) / Xiangling (C6) / Zhongli None of this is to say that there is no merit in the video, I still watch these videos and catch bits of live-streams - it is just that some of the Enemy patterns implied to be standardized are not, plus team viability varies ~greatly~ between Constellations/Artifacts/Weapons/Talents. Normally I put it down to my own skill issues but there is such a disparity here that I know it is not all me ... I had previously gotten 2-stars for each Chamber with : 1. Alhaitham - Xingqiu (C6) - Kuki (C3) - Nahida [Double Dendro was also mentioned in the video] 2. Kazuha - Yelan - Bennett (C5) - Xiangling (C6) Playing around, I had also gotten 2-stars in Chamber 1 with : 1. Xingqiu (C6) - Zhongli - Kuki (C3) - Nahida 2. Venti - Ganyu - Bennett (C5) - Xiangling (C6) This is probably coming off as rude, (apologies); if so, I sometimes come across as a bit blunt despite my attempts to be neutral toned. :/

Against the pyro crab, if you only bring Yelan you can use rapid anemo applier like Wanderer/Sucrose/Heizou. The occasional hydro swirls will make it easier to break the shield. Or if you don't have/build those anemo units, you can bring other hydro characters, hydro catalyst like Kokomi/Mona/Barbara would be best but Tartaglia/C6Candace/Ayato/Nilou/C6 Xingqiu are fine option too. Edit: the time currently is 3 AM and my brain seem to malfunctioned, i read 11-1 as 12-2 for some reason 😅 For 11-1, anemo grouper would be best. Also don't use Nahida in first half of 11-1, her mark will apply permanent burning to the pyro slimes, when they are near the monolith the hp goes down very fast. Also prioritize to provoke/grab attention from the opponents over killing them one by one.

I took Nahida, Kokomi, Nilou, Baizhu for first half and Zhongli, Eula, Raiden, Yelan for second half. I forgot Copellius had Cryo shield, but Nilou comp smashed first half of chamber 3, so Eula didn't have any problem. Cleared floor 12 without any reset. Took me a total of 15 battles with three retries for F11C1. Failed with Klee bloom twice, then cleared with Klee mono pyro. After last few abyss, this one felt very easy.

freeze is good. Ignore Magu Kenki, cryo helps remove Emperor's shield, and then freeze works on chambr 12-3-1

Have you tried standing to the side when kenki enters his 2nd phase? I havent tested much so maybe i just got lucky but the few times i just stood to his left he never dashed away after the initial backup into the wall.

I got through this abyss with Alhaitham hyperbloom one the first side and mono pyro with my triple crowned Yanfei for the second side. It made me finally get my Bennet and Xiangling higher than level 70 lol

With the insane dmg ceiling of Kuki-Hyperbloom, compared to new enemies, Keni has feels like a joke. Mr. Crabs also feels sluggish and really easy to beat by Hyperbloom. 2nd side I easily brute forced with National-Miko. Pneuma or Ousia seems not absolutely necessary yet.

As a Wanderer main, I found Coppelius annoying to deal with since I had to switch to Bennett to bring his shield down and then I wasn't dealing any damage, but you can use Xiangling, Kazuha+Bennett, or Jean+Bennett to break his shield quickly. Sunfire is actually a great option here since swirl applies 2U of pyro, while all of Xiangling's and Kazuha's applications are 1U

Hes gonna struggle a bit because of the high anemo resistance unless you highly invest on him, but i found it easy to break the shield with thoma bennet

@@bangzor7740 i mean we have good res reduction now tho... like bring faruzan and zhongli and the res is basicly at base value that all enemies have anyway. same for a cryo team with vv and shenhe. i rly think zajef for got about these here tbh.

New abyss new chance to use FullCD Xinyan. But not this one. Couldn't 36 stars. It's been 11 months since last Xinyan clear💀.

i use xinyan for every abyss and tbh there hasn't been one that she couldn't clear in a long time. My xinyan team is xinyan, raiden, diona and xiangling. this team very easily clears this abyss's second half. what's your xinyan team?

Xinyan mono pyro with Bennett(C6)/Xiangling/Kazuha should be strong enough for 2nd half.

@@verzetta that should work just fine. mono pyro works in most abyss cycles so it should work. i don't use mono pyro bcus i don't have c6 bennett or kazuha, but i like my burst xinyan team more anyways
