Hey Beardo, I wanted to share my quick story regarding Zak & my Grandma. When Ghost Adventures did the Old Town SD ep in 2011, Zak stayed at the Hotel Del Coronado. My grandma Sallie worked there at the time. In a nutshell, She was his wake-up call. When the time came to call his room, he answered, listened to the greeting, and hung up without saying anything. My grandma called back because she wasn't sure if he heard or what. she called back and repeated the greeting & he yelled at her, "I GOT IT!" & slammed the phone. She also told me that the workers at the hotel were saying how he was an asshole and how he thought he was a big shot. This is a true story & my grandma Sallie is still alive to tell the story. She worked at the Hotel Del Coronado for many many years.

Ghost Adventures did an episode several years ago where they went to a private home because Zak claimed he was contacted by the residents because there was a "demonic presence" in their home. The family consisted of a couple and their daughter, who was around 3-years-old. The house was filthy. Like, hoarder filthy. The mother claimed that she and her daughter were being scratched but it quickly became obvious the mother was inflicting the injuries on herself and her daughter. Zak, in his narration, says he believes this to be the case, while replaying video that pointed to this conclusion. Instead of immediately shutting down filming as soon as they realized what was happening, contacting authorities, and giving them the footage, they chose to continue with the "investigation" and the network chose to air it. They put the show over the safety of the child in that house. I never watched another episode after that.

Plus all of a sudden they were expieriencing "bad energies" and "emotional responses" on every show it seemed like. Zack Baggans was the first to capatalize on the craze of the whole thing and unfortunately the various personalities on youtube have followed suit. Good for a halloween night and not much else.

I have never held back regarding zac, from the first time I saw him. At that time I was villified because people were mesmerized. To lie, fake, over dramatize, and finally to place his subscribers in a potentially horrible place...that's zac. To take what 2 humans went through, knowing the real hell she went through, and use that to bolster your lies, makes me , well , I won't say here, but I hope he discovers hell sooner than later.

Him purchasing the house to stop others putting out content is the exact kind of move he's been doing for a very long time to all the people they "investigate" the contracts and NDA reach far further than the episode of GA they may appear in. It stops them putting out their story to other channels and investigators. Some even say that this is why Destination Fear was stopped and other shows removed from discovery, because zak throws his toys out the pram and reminds discovery of the cash cow he has for them. The less reported about zak the better.

I used to watch Ghost Hunters with my mom back in 2010 when I heard about Ghost Adventures and I genuinely liked them and loved the premise of the show, being locked in a haunted location overnight without a crew following you around. Unfortunately, nowadays I can't even watch as a guilty pleasure anymore, Zak went from being my paranormal crush to an attention seeker that I dislike, he treats everyone around him poorly and the show focus more on drama than on the investigation itself, which is a shame because with their reputation they can get access to any location. From what i hear, this is way back in the beginning of ghost adventures, when they went to Italy, povelia, they were extremely disrespectful and the typical " american tourist" according to a lot of people, including some "experts" and historians on Povelia. I thought "well its americans doing american bs" but then i heard it again when they were in Romania "in search of dracula/vlad the impaler and the people they interviewed there. In that time period suddenly Nik vanished nearly overnight. I then found out this was Ghost adventures MO: be obnoxious on locations, disrespect the location and then when they get too rambunctious they get banned from places. You know i sort of have my fill of most ghost shows because they either over dramatize ( like claiming everything is a demon .. hyping it up while suddenly its just some supposed disembodied voice.. add some AI and other masking software and it lands into the "when in doubt throw it out" mode which one has to do nearly with everything ) Do i think ghosts are real or not? lets say i am an open minded. People see things, no matter if its a cryptid, "ghost" or UFO ( which stand for United Fella Organization... ok ok that last one was a joke) now the how, what, where and so on needs to be investigated. Do i watch ghost shows? not that much, ditto with cryptid shows ( though i do listen to coast to coast) and i do have a soft spot for anything Josh Gates makes because Josh does things that put himself in some hilarious situations and he is not afraid to debunk things though he is respectful about it. During one of his expeditions in search for " flying prehistoric creature in the woods of borneo" he parked his car under a tree. the townspeople didn't say anything and he did say " why doesn't anyone park their car here, its much easier to walk to the river". When he came back his entire rental car was full of mongkhey droppings. Another time he was "looking for the strigoi" and some locals pointed him to a ransacked creepy cemetery. he found a big sarcophagus open and shone a light in, two cats jumped out and make josh scream like a... startled fella. hahaha Another excellent video to both you, beardo, and Kenny Biddle

Even the grammar and spelling in the silly little “warning” in Bagans “documentary” see -> 4:55 just from first glance i can see that “believe” and “attach” are misspelled. The last sentence is missing a comma too.

I actually know someone who met him years and years ago and he said he was really friendly and nice UNTIL the cameras stopped rolling. I hate how he bought the house to stop others from investigating the claims. Why? Because he's an ass and gives legit investigators a bad name. In the very beginning of GA I did enjoy the show but over time, once everything became "demonic" and "dark" i stopped watching them. I think most people see through his bullshit.

As an interesting little note. Not only is it supposed to be stationary. But it's supposed to go through a setup so that it knows the stationary environment that it's looking at. One of the major issues for it was that it was never setup correctly, and after it was setup it's environment that it was setup for would get changed in small but significant ways for what it's setup for. We also know what caused Zak's eye problems. he actually had an accident and hit his head, He actually did it on one of the live shows from what I remember.

Before I even watch - what did it for me was 1- the "possessed" guy Adam(?) was an actor with an IMdb. And the BIG #2 - WHY TF TEAR IT DOWN!?! Hmmm.... Maybe so no other teams can go in and prove it was all bullshit!!! And #3 - it's not like big name rich AF celebs haven't had actual real cops make up reports before... Not even saying he went that far for this one!!! Just more actors. And now big Mama conveniently got a movie or Netflix doc coming out soon too .... (Cough .... Warren's ahem cough cough...Andrea Perron).... Excuse eh moi'!! I must be coming down with a spring time cold!!! 🤧 Edit - Zack just wanted an excuse to forever wear those edgy AF 🤓's!!! 🤭😝😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹

There is something you got wrong. Just because he bought the house does not give him any kind of movie rights whatsoever. If Hollywood wants the rights to someone’s story to be used on a TV show or a movie, the property isn’t part of the deal. They only care about the story. That’s what Hollywood wanted to buy. The story. Even though Zach bought the house, movie Studios if they picked up and bought the rights to that family story only on the story and make a movie about it if they want. It’s like the conjuring house. The studio who bought the rights from Carolyn story and have nothing to do with the house. If whoever bought the rights for that families story bought the house then that’s a different story. There was a phone call Zach had I believe with a producers lawyer thought Baggins was making a movie based on the families story. They probably didn’t realize at the time that it was just a documentary. The Harrisville haunting, no one gave us shit for going there and filming a documentary. If we went there to film a movie based on the people events who live in the house, we would be sued into oblivion. There is a misconception with demonic hunting. It’s something that I definitely want to talk about. But I would much rather talk about it in a live stream and having you live with me.

I’ve been a Zak Bagins hater for years and years now. his not-quite-a human-behavior of having almost no regard or empathy for anyone or anything was so off putting and I hated how he always treated Aaron, making him go into places alone. One episode that really stood out was an episode where he made Aaron wander into a ‘skinwalker cave’ by himself that was absolutely inhabited by coyotes and at one point his walkie cut out and instead of going to check on him Zak just left him in there for like half an hour

Zak is a DRAMA queen. In all his shows, he must have all the attention. I remember when he first came out, he talked about coming face to face with a ghost/whatever and wants to experience that again. After 20+yrs, that dope still hasn't accomplished that. Just numerous bangs, squeaks, scratchy white noise static, meters being manipulated, and them freaking out every time they hear a bang (as if its their first time).

I was a huge Ghost Adventures fan from day one. Once Nick was dissed and left I slowly stopped watching. With that said, also from day one I couldn't stand Zak. I thought he was a bully, sissy and self absorbed type of guy from probably the third episode. He has made his millions over the years and he's laughing all the way to the bank. I feel badly for Aaron and Nick. They had no idea what they were getting themselves into. I'm still confused as to why Aaron is still hanging on.

As a Catholic I’ve done research on Stigmata, Saints like Padre Pio had it, it’s not demonic in any way and is DEFINITELY not brought on from a suicide attempt. I used to actually enjoy Zak because he was a funny, cringey geek and eventually lost his mind. I stopped watching around the Goat Man episode when Billy said he felt something and not even two minutes later ZAK said he was possessed and “crossed himself” it’s not a spell or some bull like that, it’s a physical sign of your faith

This is largely directed at Kenny Biddle for his debunking portion of the video. I just wanted to say this: I love ghost stories and paranormal investigations but also want to know the TRUTH. So thank you for explaining how many of these devices actually work and how easy it is to fake occurrences with them. I had seen the Kinect used a lot more recently and didn't understand how incredibly unreliable it is. I feel that there are many things in this world that science has yet to find explanations for, but there are also so so many frauds and misunderstandings out there that it is infuriating. Again, thank you so much for helping to educate us on the truth of these videos!

Id really like to know if the police officers, nurses and child services worker were actors, and along with whatever sum of money Zak paid the family, if he paid a little more just to get the mother and the teenage girl to say she tried to unalive herself and felt posessed while doing it? Like you said, very very poor area, a lot of hardship and struggle. I wouldn't put anything past Zak to do something so grimey.

I dont know if you will see this but working as a Nursing assistant for the last 9 years. My facility has some strange things that me nor my co-workers can explain. Ill give one example. we can see shadows in hallways that has light. Now ever ghost show love to kill the light saving we don't want any light source contamination. Boy I tell you can see strange shadow with light off. Shadows that are in the middle of the hallway and in front of us a bout 5 to 9 ft. Without any doors around or people. I seen a closet open by itself and believe me I tried my best to debunk it. Then as I leave the door will close on its own while I am still in the room. Another thing is that when someone is about to die they say the something no matter what room or station. Remember that person has died and another person can be dying in a whole side of the build. The person also tells me who is that tall blond handed man with the the child who just left my room, but the problem is no one was in the room. The child is either girl or boy. It does not matter who the sex person dying. My facility is over 20K feet in size and 136 beds and when I float to another station. They also make this same statement above. Once I heard this the person usually passes within 1 week. Ask any CNA worth their weight in gold. If you work a place where a lot death happens things get weird. One thing that I have noticed that things dont happened all the time, but sometime it can take up to days to months.

I was just out of HS and would binge all these shows. I recall this special and enjoyed the entertainment but knew it was goofy, however as an adult I agree with the rage. I also recall in my early 20s (early aughts) wanting to do ghost tours and stuff with those meters and I was dating an engineer at the time and he told me how even a light switch could make it go off so I tossed all that😹 There was an ama recently by someone who worked at Bagans museum…hoo boy. It’s everything I thought he was.

I knew he was fake as soon as he claimed supernatural activity aroind the "Dybbuk Box" in his museum, the one thst came from Ebay. Firstly, there is no such thing as a Dybbuk Box. Dybbuks possess people not objects. Secondly, the person who sold the box on Ebay has since admitted thst its fake. He built it for entertainment purposes. It's not as old as was claimed and it isn't made of what was claimed. Since it's creator has admitted it's not real, the stories of supernatural activity around it can't be real either. Which makes Zak a big l!ar. (I've spelled l!ar thst way because recently KZbin in its questionable wisdom has been hiding even the most innocuous of my comments so I'm being careful not to give them anything they might consider to be bad.)

I used to absolutely adore Ghost Adventures when I was younger. There were moments that were so obviously fake it was embarrassing (i.e. any "possession" scene), but I had more respect for it when Aaron straight up said "yeah of course we fake some of it, it's for a TV show". I kept watching because I loved the dynamic and interactions between the trio, and then that deteriorated. I don't know if I'm misremembering it, but when Nick left it was around the time they went to The Island of the Dolls. And I SWEAR the explanation for Nick not joining them was because he had just had his daughter and he was scared of bringing something home with him that could've harmed her. That always left a bad taste in my mouth. I only watched from then on for Aaron Goodwin. I didn't really care about the new three, and then suddenly it wasn't JUST them? You'd see other crew members that weren't named but were just hanging out with them to film. Whilst the show was still being peddled as "just the four of us get locked in a haunted building and we try to survive until dawn" but you can clearly see others that weren't a part of the main crew. I tried to watch Nick's spin off stuff when he continued ghost hunting but it just wasn't the same any more. He didn't seem happy like he had at the start of GA. I felt his passion for the supernatural was still in him, but he just looked so beat down it was hard to watch.

Hubby just came and said "Why are you crying? Did Beardo make you cry?" ... well, yeah, kinda. I can't help it. Those children, those people, being taken advantage of. They deserve better than being manipulated and used because of desperation. Your decency in exposing this (even though Zac's ego is so big it jumps in 3D off my screen without any word from you) hits my heart. Your compassion and care for those people and their situation - yeah. You made me cry. Mrs G must be busting with pride. And, the answer is yes - expose it all, as long as you make sure you're safe. People need to know, and you're the right man for the job. Love Kenny too. Great stuff. Love to you, Mrs G and fam. xxxx 💜🖤🩵
