My school mates thought it was a good laugh. I'm a few months away from my 66th birthday. There are thousands of beliefs for the afterlife. Ghosts coming back to the world of the living is a thing that exists in a few beliefs. None of them sound all that good. The evidence for ghosts is basically zero. The evidence against ghosts is pretty substantial. Regardless of whether or not ghosts are real: You can hold out hope that your consciousness persists in some form after death. Heck. Perhaps you've lived this exact life before. Who knows? (Heck. Perhaps there's some means that the universe itself remembers its own existence and all that has existed within it. Crazy idea, but no less crazy than the idea of Ghosts.) But yeah. Cody and Satori being fake shouldn't smother your hopes of something after death. There's no evidence of any afterlife but that doesn't mean one definitely doesn't exist. Still: you wanting to believe but questioning their honesty makes you a skeptic. "People who want to believe" can still be skeptics. Skeptic does not mean "someone who disbelieves everything". Remember that.

This whole photographic memory thing probably bugs me the most. As a gigging musician (without a photographic memory) you would be amazed at how much I can commit to short term memory - in a very short period of time. I’m so disappointed that Satori hasn’t been very careful to be honest and authentic. She’s loud and dominant. And I’m very surprised how many times she can just “ lie on the fly”. I believed them because I so wanted it to be true. When the truth came out I was devastated. I found you and for that I thank them. Other than that, they are awful. People just need to follow the money, people are faking things because that is what gets clicks and brings in the money. Real "ghost hunting" is usually a lot of nothing and you really have to work hard to get a shred of activity. Being able to "communicate with the dead" via taps consistently is just a scam for money. If that's the case, that they are faking it then that's very sad. I watched Sam and Colby at the Conjuring House and Sam broke down in tears over the so called tapping message about his grandmother. That would be an awful and cruel thing to do if that's fake. The fact that Satori refused to be put on camera with no shoes and socks on, is very telling. You would have thought that if it's true, then they would have been willing to prove it. No excuses.

He was one that tried hard to keep the show to the debunking and to reality instead of the fakery that it turned into as the Series went on and because of his contract more than likely, there is a lot on it he hasn't been able to speak on, which has just hurt him more. I think Cody making devices for knocking is still a very real possibility. John Wolfe did a video on these guys that included solenoids, and his reasoning was sound. Me and my friend were investigating the paranormal before Jason Hawes ever had a show. He isn't who STARTED this. Their show popularized it, but people have been doing this since the Warrens and earlier. You can respect Jason all you want, but that doesn't make him credible. A lot of the evidence in Ghost Hunters had later been called into question. The issue me and my friend had was that we couldn't actually discover true methods that were scientific. At some point in the paranormal you have to have faith, and it's not completely scientific. Which is an issue with me. Also, just because people add debunking into their shtick doesn't mean they don't use faulty evidence.

I loved this video. I also watched Jason's video where he was watching one of your videos and he mentioned how he respects you. I think they weren't getting heavy with the questions only because they were filming in a high school right by my house. There's a paranormal convention there every year and I go there every year. Their days are jammed packed between autograph signings, speeches and they had very little time until their VIP party and ghost hunts start up, so they just wanted to do a quick video. I was there the next day after they shot this video, The Project Fear team left early to move on to their location, but I got a chance to meet Jason and the crew. It's a lot of fun.
