Notable for his hit songs 'Lekkerkry', 'Ramkat' , 'Lekker in South Africa' , 'Jantjie de Wet' and 'Borrels In My Bier' Zak Van Niekerk would go on to widespread National acclaim. Van Niekerk tragically passed away as a result of a vehicle accident on his way to the prestigious Klein Karoo National Arts Festival in 2012.
