It was also splendid to have seen Zakir Hussian's Tabala performance along with his beloved Father the Late Alla Raha Khureshi telecasted by DD in the earlier years. The veteran Tabalanist the Late Zakir Hussain had won four Grammy and other Global Awards. The GOI had also well appreciated his mesmerising performances on the playing of the Tabala and in recognition the GOI had decorated Zakir Hussain with the National Awards of Padamashri, padmabhushan and Padmavibhushan respectively. The Advt., of 'Taj Tea' with the casting of the legandary Tabalanist Zakir Hussain with the chanting of the Slogan as - "Wa Taj Wa" - along with the nodding of his head had won millions of hearts and still it is getting echoed in the ears. May God Almighty keep the Late Zakir Hussain's departed Soul always RIP.
