That was impressive! But I really love the 1970 original by Mountain featuring the great Leslie West (and a lot of cowbell, less than 3 min.long but packs a punch). This guy's version is definitely worthy.

Great cover of this song but nobody does it better then Mountain lol this song came out in 1970. I'm just glad to see that the music I grew up listening to is still played today💖 Ty it looks like it took everything you had to stay in your seat😂. Great reaction lol.

I think that is the reason why there weren't that many claps. The covered song didn't really try to make it's own sound, or add anything to the original. Disturb's Sound of Silence, covered the song, but made it their own. This cover didn't sound like anything more than a poor cover of the original.
@walkingwounded38246 жыл бұрын
This was a tribute show, band didn't really know each other and maybe ran through it once or twice before hand, you can't judge them for this! Look at the musicianship! This was for the great Les Paul and Zakk was there to showcase his playing and Gibson guitar, not sell records. He is one of the most successful guitarist in history, look it up on Wikipedia!

To this day I still buy his albums. Next on my list is a Wylde Audio guitar which is his guitar line. Yup there are people like me that wake up every morning and drink Valhalla Coffee and watch his videos he posts with his exorcist doll, living and breathing the Viking guitarist way. Glad to be part of his society.

Zakk Wylde (a twist on "Wild") was the 80's replacement guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne, and founder of his own band, Black Label Society. He's mainly heavy metal, but he's one of those rare musicians all over the musical spectrum, playing multiple instruments. You can find a video or two playing piano on slower songs like "In This River".

When I saw that Zakk was gonna play this acoustic style I thought... well it IS Zakk the greatest and yep he was holding an acoustic guitar but it had a nice pickup that delivered Zakk's mojo....... Reminds me of when I got my first guitar at age 13 or 14.. My Mom was against it because she didn't want any noise like what I was already playing from records and tapes. I told her that it wouldn't be loud cuz it wasn't an electric guitar. WELL, at one journey to my favorite pawn shop I saw a pickup to fit an acoustic guitar... Heh Heh... sorry Mom.....
