Zak thanks for sharing your art with us. I remember getting my math set in grade 5. I did these without the leaves. That would have been in 57 or 58. I used them to colour. With you bringing them back to me,I am going to try staining one on glass and firing it like a church window. I will add the leaves like yours. I've made rangoli in glass.

Wow! I just realized there is a few platforms that provide the grid to create Mandalas and they are fun and fast! I do appreciate your style and method for creating these by hand (old School). It is a great tool to have in your pocket :) we get so tied up in fast ways to do things and forget the simplicity of creating things by hand. Plus it's harder to draw those curves and arches evenly sometimes when using the mouse, it sticks and makes squiggles when you wanted curved, then you have to redo the lines. Thanks for the video, will look out for more of your work!

As someone with control issues, I am finding drawing a mandala this perfectly for the first time ever incredibly satisfying 😂😌 and after my first attempt at getting the initial circles & lines exact I'm really enjoying it now I've relaxed. Finding my metal ruler 📏 instead of using my debit card 😅 sharpening pencils ✏ and tightening my loose cannon of a compass definitely helped for the precision. Hopefully now I'll be able to build up to more complicated designs.
