Hats off Zach, you've inspired and helped me to become a better builder. after a solid year, I finally feel comfortable enough to mod/paint. I am testing on a 30mm alto, but am planning a recolor of the Assault shroud to match the storm bringer FA scheme. fingers crossed!!

just make sure not to cheap out on materials, i did my first custom paint and almost ruined my kit with an off brand gloss coat that was super crappy and turned matte. buy all tamiya/mr hobby and you should be fine

@@Jaynesslessly thanks for the heads up! I have invested in a number of vallejo mecha colors for the primers/base painting, tamiya paints for accents, and tamiya gloss/matt clear coat sprays. I don't expect the mats to do all the work, so I am always watching Zack and Don Suratos for best practices :)

I'm 28 and from NYC. I just got into gunpla about a month ago, however I've had love for the hobby since 1998 which is when I saw someone building one in a park. I'm about to start getting into customizing some of my hg kits (mainly painting) but watching this video makes me really excited for full customization of my kits.

I hear that this kit is under some strain from its own weight. Honestly, that would make sense considering its loadout. I imagine this machine would benefit from being remade by the Revoltech brand as Revolver joints on my Revoltech merch has held up to that kind of weight.

I would love to see custom polycaps, like a whole line of different plastics, Like 3d printed polycaps made of petg, or ninjaflex filament, all the way to silicone

I'd like too see this kit as an MG All of that cool armour and accessories is really good but that hg frame couldn't really handle all that weight which kinda sucks

Regarding the Marchosias Custom: The color scheme used by the Marchosias/Hajiroboshi is quite unique, using colors close to that would look really nice. Im interested to see how youll be changing up the backpack, your concept is nice and im expecting it to look great as always. Regarding the video format: Should definitely not add the long WIPs onto the unbox+reviews, although it makes sense statistics-wise, the length does throw off some people wanting to watch an unboxing and review. Also, there should be a sepaeate viewerbase who watches just the reviews (regular content) and those that watch the reviews anf most of the other videos (loyal/technicl viewers).

i have the hajiroboshi, its a pretty solid kit and i had fun putting it together, though the marchosias is a bit floppy cause of the heavy back parts: the hajiroboshi is a lot more solid.

Damn now I'm getting some ideas here. Also I used the arms from this kit in my modded barbatos lupus rex and I did the same thing to the back of the arm by removing that bit instead of removing the seam and as for the front wrist area I just cut one side off and glued it together that way both sides of the arm can be taken apart.

Im currently enjoying v fin trimming so much i turned hajiroboshi into a single horned demon LOL. I love hajiroboshi's 3 pronged blade antenna but i find it clashing with the shoulders in some poses that im thinking its gonna get bent, damaged or broken off in actual operation so those two side antenna's gotta go. Also trimmed zero honoo's bendy antennas. I dont have bael but i love its head design except for its horns so im currently looking for one to turn into a hornless demon king LOL. Now im excited for part 2

My first couple gunpla were iron blooded orphans. I have to say, I’m not too impressed with them. I felt not enough diversity, and they were super loose. They just don’t have the level of quality and diversity as the witch from mercury line.

Yes, this is from the mobile game too. The Hajiroboshi in canon reuses the frame of the Marchosias.
