Am I the only one that finds it odd that everyone in Japan uses transparent umbrellas?

It's kinda cool. It'll will protect from rain anyway :P
@ZakuAurelius8 жыл бұрын

@zam0238 жыл бұрын
Imagine walking and a tree brunch or some object falls from above. With a transparent umbrella you would see it coming. Japan have frequent typhoon storms and so this scenario happens more often. Therefore the umbrella evolve to tackle the issue. Another scenario that I myself come across is when you use the umbrella as a wind shield during heavy windy rain. You will hold it infront of you. When your umbrella is made of non-transparent material you can't see where you are going. Very dangerous when you have to walk on the road side or cross roads. When I get into such situations I wished I could get a transparent umbrella at my place.
@wcisnijstart6 жыл бұрын
Visibility is one thing, second is that if You store umbrella in front of the store You don't have to think which one is Yours, just pick first one available lol happens to me all the time in Japan

Yeah I found that the figures inside the glass boxes, are incredibly over priced. I saw a tiny thumb high touhou capsule prize type thing that I had purchased on ebay for around 5 bucks, and they were selling it for over 50 dollars there. Everything else on upper floors though are reasonably priced. Bought a few IBO HG's there.

You should let only the music from the store for to hear. It's also a good way to really transfer the feel of how is to be there. With your music in the background was a mix that it was annoying to watch it. Not that your music was bad what I mean is either you let the actual sounds in or you cut the sounds and you put your background music only. Thanks for the vid

ah that explains why you know japan as much as korea. go figure. how long did you live in nagoya? i have a buddy at work who used to live in korea and now lives here. so i hear a lot about korea from him. his stories of korea convinced me to check the place out three years ago. and like i said, im going in the summer.
@ZakuAurelius8 жыл бұрын
I lived in Nagoya for about a year! There are pros and cons to both Korea and Japan. For Gunpla, obviously Japan is the place to be, but Korea ain't bad. For just cost of living and especially transportation, Korea is way better.
@jaysato8 жыл бұрын
totally agree with you on the transportation and cost of living.

Yeah! I know it as Volks in Nagoya!
@whereisrevell5 жыл бұрын
The built models are in cases rented out by Volks to people who want sell their items. Some folks think they can get a lot for their models, but in truth their value goes down unless the model is unbuilt.

Just like ebay when people put up there builds with the description Award winning lol loads new one's on aswell even though no shows n clubs been on for past 18 month's I'd love to see some of the awards for them lol the price they ask is madness too! Why you would buy a built model I don't know maybe for non modellers want something but then even a commission build would be alot cheaper and more than likely 100% better!
@teetee5808 жыл бұрын
That L.E.D. Mirage V3 kit...... Drooooooool Seriously, love the videos, but would it be possible to edit on of the background music out? Surely you aren't allowed to let us hear the music in the store due to copyright stuff, but to me it messes something in my brain up (the tiny bit that is left) when hearing two (very) different types of music playing at the same time.... Sorry for being a negative Nancy, really love these episodes though!!!
