Well, there IS a Sachiel kit, but you have to force the assembled skeleton right into a rubber suit through a tiny hole. And then add pieces on top of the suit such as ribs and face.

If the hips are the same as Eva-01, which they look like they are, you can get the kit to do the full splits. You have to get it in the right position but it can be done.

I wonder if they took the ' thing from the Mg Avalanche Exia' otherwise known as Avalanche Exia Dash. I don't think stability will hold up well in some areas. I found the upper arms of Unit-01 to be extremely loose after leaving it in the same pose since I built it on release. The knees haven't held up that well either.

EVA-00' definitely predated that, they were using that naming since 1995. Originally with NGE they yellow was just plain 00, and the blue one was 00' or 00Kai, with the rebuild movies they just added the new chest and shoulders but didn't change the color. the RG EVA's loose upper arms is due to the inner frame peg hole (part c14/15 on the right arm and c12/13) on the left armspliting underneath the bicep armor. Gluing those 2 halves completely fixes the issue.

Is anyone else having trouble with the shoulder pads staying put? I built the 00 version, and I just can't get the shoulder parts to hold, as the little yellow/orange triangle collarbone part seems to interfere with it sitting flush, and if I move the arm at all, the shoulder falls loose.

Hello, kit builder here. I build military kits, sci-fi and mobilesuits. I mostly paint my kit with Tamiya and Mr. Hobby paints. I've been hearing alot about Gaia paints for a while now, I never used them before. Can anyone tell me about the quality and how does their colors look when applied on models especially Gundams? Does come in acrylic, lacquer or both? Thanks!!

Does your stand rotate really wuick or did you speed up the footage? Also, is it easy to swap the parts for 00 and 00', or do you have to pick which version from the start and that's it?

Speed it up. It’s pretty easy to swap, just need to remove and rebuild a couple sections

I love everything about this kit EXCEPT the weird shade of mustard yellow they chose to use. In all the promo pics/renders it has more of an orange tinge. When I get this kit I’ll definitely be painting at least all the yellow parts to a nicer shade.

As for the runners, Bandai basically has already planned out all the Evas (atleast until Unit 02) which explains some of the small runners and the obvious segmenting. The DX runners are the only new runners here. Units 03 and 04 are practically just color swaps with each other and have minimal change from the rest of the Evas, very likely we will be getting those after Unit 08. The real question is whether Bandai will make the Mass Production Evas or the other Rebuild Evas.

Unit 03 has been announced and I pretty sure that Bandai will make as many units as the license allows.

The real question is if they’ll make the TV versions. Ignoring the differences in proportionality, it could be achieved with mostly just color swaps and a couple of new molds like Unit 2’s original forehead piece without the crest.

Just a heads up, you can actually spread the legs all the way apart. You’d think it would be limited by the design but there’s a pretty cool sliding gimmick added that gives the legs full spread. Seems allot of reviewers aren’t aware it can do that.

I heard your critics about the stickers, can the degreasing of pieces before the assembly help here ? I took the habit of washing the runners with dishwashing liquid to remove the grease...

Yeah grease, or more specifically mold release, is not really an issue at all these days. It used to be a long time ago but you really only need to wash parts just before painting

Definitely cost, about 'easy building', the provided both stickers and water decals in their Star Wars kits, so it's not an issue
