Correction. The 3rd miner says he was forced to barter his cellphone for 500ml of mageu. He did not sell it for R500 as the reporter translated. But kudos to her overall to trying to speak in different languages.

Yes, I don't speak the language, but I understood it that way. And the part about guns that are underground, the 1st Miner was referring to Six Gun Grill spice that they were eating spice, vinegar, water etc. Kudos to the reporter, she tried.

Kudos to the interviewers not only trying to understand /translate, but for the gentle empathy too. No aggressive reporters pushing and shoving or shouting over each other. They all realised compassion was needed, no matter their personal opinions. Kudos to them all.
