I ordered years ago directly from ZAN for my .25 slugs. Now I was very interested when they come out and order a pack for my FX DL .30. Works great in it; very accurate and powerful! One of my favorite now.

Thanks. The Wolverine is very heavily modded. I haven't yet made the final mod vide but I will soon... P-3 would have the same power or even higher if it was full length version. The accuracy would also be probably slightly better with longer barrel. At the time, this was the only barrel I had so I just made the video with Compact version.

Nice! A friend told me about these new pellets last week but he didn't know when and where they would be available. I've just seen they're available in the Netherlands right now, so will order & try them out soon. I'm only a bit hesitant about their weight, they may be a little on the heavy side for my RAW HM1000X.

Yes, they are quite heavy but you can shoot them at lower speed as well. I believe the ZAN projectiles will also produce a lighter version soon that will be called BR50.

My Superlong R5 is so heavily modified that it is way too powerfully for those pellets. But I am sure they would work really well in that rifle.

I love the idea of a 30 caliber airgun, but the cost of ammo is what keeps me away from purchasing one or converting one. Do you have any suggestions to make a 30 caliber as affordable as say a 25 caliber? Yes I could get a die and make my own providing the die/mold is compatible with the id of my barrel. Cost per round makes a .22 LR the better choice here in the USA. Ammo for .22 LR is cheaper than .30 pellets.🤷‍♂️💯

Don't know if you remember my modded Prophet Performance Compact Fat Boy Edition? I originally got it in.22 caliber and I got a.177 barrel for it last autumn to play with some h&n slugs and I was just last week thinking about getting a.30 barrel for it to play around with as well, it's not the assisted valve but it would still be interesting to try. @@gregorkamensek3923I put all the parts I think is needed in the shopping cart at Wolfiek to have the assisted valve retro fitted but I understand there is some machining needed to fit the assisted valve to a Prophet one? Is it the valve seat that is bigger?

@@gregorkamensek3923 Orion got the valve fitted in his compact so it is doable, he said that there where some machining needed but not what exactly. I could always ask him or I could just order the necessary parts and make them fit like I usually do :-) Thanks anyway!

Hi Gregor, I’m an avid follower of your channel and I’ve just been granted my FAC and own a Huben K1 2022 version. Could you please tell me in your opinion what the most efficient, consistent and accurate regulator Set point is and what power wheel setting you would use for ZAN 28 grain 5.56 slugs as this Is what I am going to shoot in the land. I’m also looking to fit a huma regulator to minimise speed fluctuations. I’d really appreciate your advice, many thanks in advance.

I would use about 150 bars and set the power wheel to get somewhere between 290 and 300 bars. I would suggest that you find the sweet spot with stock regulator and move to huma only if you see the fluctuation of the pressure / velocity.

@@gregorkamensek3923 Many thanks for your reply Gregor, I could not get any consistency with the Huben stock regulator, so I fitted the Huma reg this morning and noticed an instant & significant improvement. I expect my groups will be a lot tighter now. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 thanks again.

@@richardhindmarsh939 Happy to hear that. Since I have four k1 guns, I can tell that the regulator operation is a lottery on them. But in my experience, the newer guns regulator perform better than the old ones... The reg on my .22 SE from 2021 is exceptionally good. Anyway, Huma will serve you well for sure and if you don't need external adjustability, it is a very good choice.

Upgrading would mean that you would need new body and front with all parts, so there would not be much left from original P2. I am not sure if that would be any cheaper than getting the whole P-3.
