Ha bud I work at a Ford deaership in Australia the t50 bolts should be loosened by hand and then use a cordless wrench I would say that the dealers that fixed your seat rail use a impact on them .if you are gunna take interior out on a regular basis go by some hardened steel replacement bolts. The factory bolts are really designed for single use for production line fitment. Hope this helps.

NOT SURE if you have it. But I would suggest cradle lockout BMR. And...lighter rotors. Your acceleration will improve. There are rotors 12lbs lighter. (24 for the front. ) and now steeda created 2 piece rotors for the rear for a 4lbs total save. All rotary mass. Good luck for tomorrow

Do a DIY rear seat delete. Did it in my '18. It cost me a total of 2 hours and $35 CDN. About $20 USD. Hit me up if you want some pics and diy tips. Total weight of the diy seat delete is >3lbs with all the screws, carpet, glue and paint. Could get it lighter if you want to sacrifice looks.

Zander 13 ; About the strut brace you removed , you only removed half of the brace. There is a cowl brace that makes up the complete brace. It's not much more weight but it weighs just about the same as the part you took off. About what time will you be getting to the track tomorrow ? I plan on getting up early enough to get my car cleaned up and head up there myself. I got my mower serviced today and got the grass cut so I'm cleared for the weekend . Bummer about the seat bolt , looks like the wrong bit was use then the other side had the correct one used.

Old racer trick is to unbolt or just remove the front sway bar. You can do it at the track if you are just unbolting it and zip tie it up. Doing so will allow the front end to come up quicker for weight transfer. It should be easy for you since you can turn a wrench and could drop your ET. I think the bar weighs about 12 pounds.

Removing the front sway bar removes weight from the best spot, the front end. This will give you the best weight transfer for better rear traction and 60' times.

FYI, I have 295/55/15s on my 1200HP 67 in the SS MT and no probs in rain...ive been 1.50 60ft on the 275/60 version of the same tire ( just havent been back with my 295s but I can tell you from street testing they were a measurable step up, love em had em on gravel and everything ) ...I have ran them all and for a true actual best of both worlds those SS MT tires are insane when new....( counter intuitive you would think they would be better close to worn out but its about the side wall) also buy from dealers that move them so you get a good manufacturing date.....

Speaking of "free horsepower" The previous owner of my 2018 GT gutted the PCV valve (supposedly for more power) and that just allowed the engine to consume oil. Luckily I already had a leftover PCV valve laying around and quickly rectified this problem. It was causing multi-cylinder misfire codes.

Likely the seat bolts were fouled up by some chucklehead that used a Torx bit instead of the Torx Plus. Different fasteners all together

put 3 55gallon garbage bags and fill the with helium and put in car, and one in trunk. There is 15lb of weight savings add that to saving 30lb on a lipo battery. GET IT. KNOW IT. and do a 3 day dry fast fatty there will be 10lb lost . Stang mode should do 3 back to back 7day dry fast and lose like 30lbs .

No. Catch can is only needed on the side that pushes air (passenger). Bank 2 sucks air. Please get to know how a PCV system works please. If the PCV lines are removed, then open breathers on each bank will work but they crankcase still operates the same. Also, yes… weight does not add HP, but… lighter cars are faster. Horsepower refers to the power an engine produces. It's calculated through the power needed to move 550 pounds one foot in one second or by the power needs to move 33,000 pounds one foot in one minute. The power is gauged by the rate it takes to do the work.
