I like my PP1 spoiler , I added the RTR Gurney flap to make it stand out. Next car meet I will add a video to my channel with all my visual mods. Good video. It's your car, if you like it. That's all that matters.

I love the MMD spoiler! I would like to put one on my GT, but I havent figured out how to make it work with the digital fade stripes that my car came with. I'm torn between going with a black spoiler and putting it over the stripes, or going with a triple yellow one and then buying more of the rear stripes and trying to make the fade blend in over the spoiler too.

I like it! Also, just fyi, I work with stainless steel and glass, and I use all kinds of tape every day to cladd and glaze. There's couple methods, but the easiest if you had to do this again, spray a lot of windex on the area you're attaching. It will stop the tape to get stuck on initial contact, and give you a small window to adjust things. Windex dries quick, the tape sticks, and there's no compromise on the bond.

Nice look. A completely different spoiler than Ford PPI. Kinda reminds me of the early Saleen S281wing less the trunk decklid braces. I've been wondering how the PP1 spoiler would look painted gloss black on a nonblack GT. Your two changes look excellent. Looking forward to seeing your future modifications.

One of the reasons I got the ‘18 PP1 was because of the spoiler. It fits the car so well and is already a unique touch. I’ve only seen one other PP1 on the road here in WA.

I’m a fan of the pp1 spoiler. I do like the red and black mix. Most of the dealers here in Florida order the cars with spoiler delete, and it took several months to find a Mustang with pp1 and a spoiler.

It is starting to look like my 18 gt race red... I went with red and black only on my car.. with smoked headlights, tail lights, I wrapped the gas tank door gloss black, red calipers, black and red emblems, Roush active exhaust with black tips... and I'm installing the whipple supercharger and it the supercharger will be red..

I think it looks good, better than the stock spoiler and a good match for the gloss black back panel. A matching gloss black rear valance, instead of the matte black one, might go well with the other gloss black in the back.

We did that same spoiler on my wife's EcoBoost. I prefer no rear spoiler on my car, but since it had a factory rear spoiler, I just had it wrapped gloss black. So, I vote paint your PP1 rear spoiler black. Just my opinion.

I did the same on my megnetic metalic. Gloss black spoiler but a little different style. It matches my black rims as does yours. I like the two tone so much I'm thinking about a gloss black roof now. I think you should go for a roof wrap as well.

I’ve had several eras of mustangs and my current is a 2014. I’m a minimalist so this would not be my spoiler of choice. Although there are far worse. My attitude for now is wait and see. Maybe it will blend nicely with everything else that is done. I do like the red and black theme though.

When I bought my car, ford had promised me that PP1 spoiler but couldn't get them because of back order. So 4 months later, ford had to finally get me an aftermarket Replica which cost them double. Lol. Looks identical. Do you want to sell that one and if so. How much? I was thinking about maybe getting a 3rd S550 and the PP1 is by far my favorite.

I should have watched your video before buying the same MMD. I still need to install it but I have a broken foot so everything is on hold but box is in my basement along with the pp1 style front air dam. I have an EcoBoost with the Blackout Package, and it's just standard. Not PP, just the standard black spoiler that comes with the Blackout Package. Will this one fit correctly? I don't want to have to go to any body shop to have any holes filled, I just want it to go smoothly.

I much prefer the PP1, but here's the thing ... its yours, so mod it as YOU want. What we think of it doesn't really matter. I think mods change as you age as well. I may have gone with the MMD spoiler or plasti-painted my car purple 30 years ago, but I've become more conservative and prefer the understated look. I've always liked something different, but don't like attracting attention to myself, so I tend to make my mods subtle.

It seems like the decklid is not push inn all the way in the top! I saw the intall video and i think if im not mistaken that you left the clips from the stock one stuck in there, that might be why is not going all the way in and flush

That spoiler added five horsepower it'll probably put 10 lb of downforce on your rear axle which will help in traction that kind of spoiler is made for high speed love it. 😁

I like spoilers with a little height. You're better able to judge how close things are to your bumper. Personally, I would of kept the factory spoiler and maybe just painted it black.

Great choice looks 100% better. I installed the wicker spoiler on my 18. I definitely feel you about wanting to make it stand out. Down here in Florida it seems like every other house has a mustang. I’m really thinking of trading in on a used GTR Nissan. Going to look at couple tomorrow.

Zander13 they have come down in price at the auction they run $32-$45k for 11-14 models the 09-10 I don’t really look at because the transmission problems they had in past. . But it will be nice to have a car that my neighbors our half my state doesn’t own.

looks good, but...... The rear spolier is gloss black and the rest of the exterior trim appears to be a flat black (rear deck lid is also gloss blk)... IMO does not look right.... I would make all the exterior trim either flat or gloss...

Looks great . Paint top black . (Blackout package ) You do realize that spoiler is very aggressive . It will create considerably more down force which translates to slower ET'S. More front and rear down force slower ET's.

The new spoiler will add a lot more downforce compared to the PP1 spoiler. The PP1 spoiler is more reminiscent to the 87-93 Mustang GT spoiler, which added a bit of lift at higher speeds compared to the 85-86 spoiler on the Mustang GT and the 87-93 LX body styles. Hopefully it will aid in high speed stability in Mexico.

Zander13 I the idea of the black on the red as you say you’re trying to do something different but you also contradict yourself saying a lot of people are doing the MMD spoiler. I am excited to see what else you got in store exterior wise me personally I would’ve probably recommended you paint the PP1 spoiler gloss black to go with the thing that you got that to me would’ve stood out versus doing whatever one else is already doing like you said. Other than that I’m excited to see what else you got going on with this. Keep us guessing

Zander 13; I thought you'd change the wing on the deck lid, guess I was correct. Bill from CJ Ponys took the wing off of his 18 GT and replaced it with the GT 350 spoiler. Funny a lot of people that have the wing your car came with don't like it . Personally I like what ever looks good to me . My car did not come with a spoiler of any kind and if I install one I'll ruin it. I like what your doing so far , looks cool. BULLITT 40

Difficult to say on the vid. But personally I prefer the pp1 spoiler. RTR do have a gurney flap for the pp1 spoiler which I think would be a great addition

I love it!! Was never a huge fan of the stock spoilers for theses cars. I get alot of Sht for my mustang spoilers.. I have a cobra r clone buts its a convertible.. I switch between the Cobra R spoiler and the Roush spoiler every now and then just to keep it different :)

Mmd I had it on my race red 16 and now on my 18gt. Also on my race red I had the black roof and the 302 front fender vinyl from big works and it looked amazing. Loving yours bro. Looks good.
