Your car sounds really good, and I could hear the quick shifts. This is about as far as I want to go with mine, because after all, we paid a lot of money for the car, and we don't want to break them.

You should clarify that the entire warranty does not go away. Only warranty on parts that failure could be blamed on the tune. If the stereo goes out the tune does not void the stereo warranty or other electrical components. Some people might watch your video and think their entire warranty is now void. Good video!
@CornfedKillerDude15 жыл бұрын
That "shift pause" people are experiencing is the tune hitting fuel cut off/rev limit slightly and the transmission not being commanded to shift quick enough before it. Torrie, my tuner @ Unleashed had a helluva time solving that very issue on my tuning, but he did too. Its what I consider to be the next step past a Lund tune, and so far, from what I hear, only Rob & Torrie have figured out how to do that. Wait till you go E85 and it changes the way the engine actually sounds, you'll flip out, at first you'll think the engine is about to come apart it sounds so aggressive! Hopefully Rob is making you an E85 tune so you can experience that, and grab even more power.

My used 16 has a Lund tune, nGauge in the dash, JLT cold air, catch cans, and several other mods, which was the way I bought it from a Ford dealer. Battery died months later, even though the previous owner installed a amp, sub and speakers, Ford gave me a new battery for free under warranty and told me everything is still covered, which is the only reason I bought it from them to begin with. I found that the negative post terminal was loose when the battery died, and I did tighten it before I brought the car in for service. I did bring it in another time and told them I smell burnt oil when I floor it to 120mph. They found no problems, but told me they would not floor it to 120mph, and they charged me nothing for the check up and test drive they did. Later I replaced the PCV and the problem went away. The car only had 15k on it at that point.

Great to see your honesty about blowing the warranty. AM, and the like, continue to omit to mention this when reviewing and discussing such performance products that they are trying to sell you. So too do just about every other KZbinr (omit to mention warranty implications) when fitting such mods to vehicles. I recently had a 400KW tune (by Tickford, Australia) for my 2018 Mustang, it was relative expensive but it does come with a 3 year drive train warranty from the provider - and that my friend is the price one pays to have some comfort when blowing the Factory warranty. hi zander nothing like when you spend money on mods that you feel a such improvement,it makes you a happy man,a question,why didnt you keep the wheels from your 18 for your new car

Great job Zander13! Now take Carnage back to that same dyno you used last time to see “real world” gains! Man, so jealous...I wanna tune mine so badly but the fact I purchased extended warranty is holding me back haha Can’t wait to see Carnage back on the strip! Cheers brother

I'm wondering if it's a definite void to the warranty though.

Mustang860 from what I’m told by dealership they can void warranty for any modification but usually tune is the biggest warranty voider lmao.

Mustang860 Even if you flash it back to stock? I’m just curious because I’ve seen a number of people on forums say that they take their tunes off and the. Go get warranty work.

Is the active exhaust going to go to sport mode when the tach reaches a predetermined RPM in the next tune?

Alex. Don't you feel you being a little bit unfair in regards to Lund? The guys over there are no fools. When it comes to these cars. Also you are comparing tune on a manual car to a automatic car where the transmission has been tuned also. I would bet a big part of you happiness with the improvement go from the transmission tune. It is known. There is not much hp left on the table with 93 Oct tune on these gen 3 coyote motors and there 12:1 compression.
@forcedair92gt945 жыл бұрын
It was the same with the 4.6 4 Valve in the 2003-2004 Mach 1s. Tunes didn't do much but gears put you in the power band quicker and kept it there.

I have been in plenty of lund tuned auto 18s and PBD. from my experience, the PBD cars were faster and shifted worlds better

Wow what a difference . The tach went further than factory setting . I'm impressed , wonder if a JLT cold air intake will preform better than the GT 350 cold air that came factory on my BULLITT ? I'll have to check in on that thought . I installed the JLT cold air n my 17 GT and it made a difference but I'm like you I believe the tune I went with was conservative . Thanks for yet another great Video. BULLITT K0040

it scared me at first bc it went so high. the JLT is huge. It is bigger than the gt350 one for sure
@mileshiles12875 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't change that intake just add a tune if want more. The intake should support it. I like your car first bullet I've seen. I have photos from beech bend.

@@mileshiles1287 Thank you Sir, for your complement of my car. I was there at Beech Bend at the NMRA all Ford shoot out ,then again for the U Tube call out . I didn't race it at the call out, at that time it just clicked 1000 miles . I wan't to get a few more miles on it and really wan't to get better axles before I get on a drag strip. I've always raced an automatic never a manual. So when I do get my car on a track it will be a new experience for me. I've got 2,263 miles on the car and have loved every mile I've put on it . Thanks again .BULLITT K0040

@@Zander13Productions On my 17 GT I also swapped out the factory 3.31 to a 3.73 Toreson differential and that made a complete change in how the car performed. I just love the S550 platform . Ford hit a home run with these. BULLITT K0040
