My mom passed away 7yrs ago. Right after she passed I walked outside the hospital and as I sat there crying in the parking lot, a ladybug landed on me. Since then I've had ladybugs visit me in the most impossible situations. The day(near moment) I found out I was pregnant. When I pulled out her wedding dress/veil and a living ladybug was sealed inside with the veil. The day I brought my 2nd daughter home one landed on her. When I got in a wreck one landed on me when I got out of the car(in the dead of winter) The day my dad was having a life saving surgery one was crawling on me inside the hospital. Plus every. single. time. I have visited her grave(about 5 times now) there has been one on her grave or on me. Even my bff (who was like a 2nd daughter to her) had one fly inside the car and land on her. She pulled over and stopped to send me a pic then to let it back out and when she started driving again she drove up on a multiple car pile up. She thinks my mom kept her from dying that day. I've had so many crazy ladybug encounters now I can't even count.. I always take a pic because I know ppl won't believe me, but I have dozens of pictures with lady bugs now as little reminders from my mama.🥰

When I was younger my grandma told me when she passes away she’ll come visit me as a yellow butterfly. My grandma passed away 7 years ago and I see yellow butterflies everywhere even in the dead of winter! My grandpa passed away 3 weeks ago and a yellow butterfly landed on his casket and I was the only one that saw it! It was a sign my grandma was getting my grandpa soon after a dragonfly was flying around us until we left. Butterflies represent full of life and Dragonflies represent wisdom which truly represents my grandparents.

It actually makes a lot of sense that Mariah’s reading was off because with readings , the readers can only tune into the messages as much as the one who’s getting read subconsciously are okay with. In other words they must give their permission and although Mariah is open and believes in these gifts and believes in spirits, like she very openly expressed she’s simply is not interested in knowing what they have to say because her faith lies in the unknown and Gods’ plan and so in other words she isn’t giving her full permission to the reader. Since you guys are wrapping up season 1, I just wanted to say how much this podcast meant to me. When my cousin passed away in August it completely caught me off guard. During the rough times, I constantly find myself listening and watching this podcast as I sketch in my journal as a distraction. You all are so light-hearted, hilarious, and sweet. I'm sure I'm not the only coffee bean that feels this way as pretty much everyone has had a bad year. Lord only knows how many people you guys were able to keep company during quarantine. Every time my brother would come over, he would ran around the yard with my dog and she loved it. A few days after he passed, I was taking her out so she could do her stuff before going to bed and she just takes off running around the yard and she kept looking up like she was looking at someone. When she finally stopped, she had such a big smile and I knew that he was taking one last run with her.

My daughter used to talk about her past life.. when she was 3 she got a new pair of tap shoes for Christmas and somehow knew how to actually tap and my sister said, “Wow you’re so good how do you know how to tap dance?” And she replied, “Well I used to do recitals before the man with the gun came!” Recitals.. guns? She shouldn’t have known those words. Also, she would always point at red convertibles and be insistent that she “used to have a car like that”. When my sister asked for more information on the recitals and the man she said he shot her red car 😳 She also had an imaginary friend, “the lady” and would also laugh like she was being tickled and be cracking up saying, “hey that tickles why you tickling me lady?” And anytime something would fall & make a noise in another room & we’d get freaked out she’d tell us, “It’s just the lady!” Or when the dog would bark at nothing she’d say, “oh she’s just barking at the lady.” Now that she’s older she says the lady looked like an old librarian with her glasses and gray hair in a bun. It never freaked me out too bad, but friends would get really freaked out and would tell me I needed to take her to church 🤣 There’s a bunch more things but I already wrote a novel

The situation with Kenny happened to me once. I went to a park having a picnic just chilling with friends and this random guy came up to me. He was like “hey I’m really sorry and I don’t want to freak you out BUT I just want to let you know you are a very lucky girl. Your older brother is watching over you and he’s always with you, he’s your protector.” Bitch let me tell you I lost my shit I was freaking out because I used to not talk about the passing of my older brother at all! And for some random man to come up and tell me that. I think about it all the time.

I had something like this happen to me too! I was a server about 5-6 years ago and had this older lady and her friend at one of my tables. They were very nice and I didn’t notice anything weird from them. But when I brought them the check the lady was talking with me a little and suddenly interrupted me (in a nice way) and said “I don’t want to freak you out, especially at work but I am a medium and you have a presence protecting you. It’s a male presence, and he’s wearing a motorcycle helmet. I don’t know his name but I know he loved your mother and loved you as his own and wants you to be safe, and with your family not around he feels it’s his duty to keep you safe.” At this point I never brought up the fact that my whole family had moved away from my hometown.. I knew it was the man my mom was dating around the time I was born, her high school sweetheart. (Not my biological father but definitely loved me as his own). His name was Doug and he died in a motorcycle accident on a really dangerous mountain road in my hometown. Which was why he was wearing a helmet with the medium I’m sure. But I told the medium who I thought it was and she BURST INTO TEARS because she apparently had a flash of one of HIS memories of me as a newborn with my mom in the hospital and I wouldn’t stop crying, he then picked me up and rested my body lengthwise across his forearm (like from his palm to the crook of his elbow) and I instantly stopped crying and just started at him. My mom has told me this story since the time I could see her grief from missing him. So the fact that the medium lady said everything with such detail and felt such sorrow for him, and me in that moment will never leave me. I think about it all the time. To be honest it was one of the most unexpected and shaking experiences I’ve ever had. But I’m glad she said something, because it also makes me feel less alone without my family, and that no matter the darkness I experience, I have someone keeping me safe. ♥️

Something happened like that to me too! I was on holiday and I was seeing this guy back at home for like 2 weeks. I ended up kissing one of the bar crawl workers (after he fed me shots all night) while on holiday and felt really bad about it and I was debating telling the guy back at home. The next night me and my friends were sitting on some steps outside a bar and this woman comes and sits beside me and was like “i usually don’t do this for free but I had to come and tell you it’s ok, I think you should tell him. At first he’s going to be upset but if you just explain the whole situation to him he will understand and you’ll move past it”. I immediately started balling my eyes out to this woman and she started telling me things about people I know who have passed. It was CRAZY.

About 7 years ago my grandpa found my grandma unresponsive in bed, when he called the paramedics he panicked and told them to do CPR even though she had a DNR. She unfortunately ended up going into a coma for a day until she passed. I had left, but my dad, grandpa, aunt and uncle were there all when she took her last breathe. Throughout the whole day we had been playing a CD we made for their anniversary a few years before, the second she took her last breathe, the CD flipped to my grandparents wedding dance song. I have NEVER in my life seen my father cry, he is a Vet who is very very tough and always very strong, but he could barely explain what had happened without crying. It was truly the most heartbreaking but beautiful, wonderful thing.

My grandma passed away in March a few years ago, my grandpa didnt have any emotions when it happened. He said that he had said "bye" to her years ago (she really struggled with depression and it had really changed her.) My grandpa's health quickly declined after she passed away and my dad was taking care of him. He would ask my dad everyday what the date was, until he told him it was June 21st. He said "okay" perked up for a while and then passed away. It was their anniversary.

My dad is a pediatrician and told me a story about a niece she was about 2-3 years old that was in an accident and ended in a coma, and at the hospital since she was at the ICU (intensive care unit) the parents brought a mini cassette player and placed it near her bed, because the lion king soundtrack was her favorite and asked one of the nurses if they could back up the cassette every time it ended The last time my dad checked on her, she woke up from the coma and grabbed my dad by the hand and said "don't worry, Ninito I'm fine" (Nino is my dads nickname and in Mexico we use -ito to say like little one) as soon as that happened the cassette ended and went back to sleep and my dad called the nurse to tell her that she woke up and the flatline sounded (while the sound of the cassette was like static) and seconds later she died, the cassette instantly started playing from the start and since my dad did not called the nurse he couldn't explain why the cassette restarted (since you have to roll the cassette thingy for it to start again), he asked the nurse if she did that but the nurse was at another room. He stayed until the cassette finished again to see if it would restart but it didn't. It breaks my dad even thinking about it and gets chills every time he listen to the soundtrack, until this day he does not know how its happened.

You guys it's Sonya from South! When I visited you and I stayed with you at the Denny house I experienced the same exact thing! My first night I remember sleeping in the dining room right below the chandelier and experiencing sleep paralysis. I told Zane about it and he told me that the house was haunted. A few nights later, I was sleeping in the living room on the couch and I heard footsteps in the hallway. Todd wasn't home, neither was Scott and Zane was sleeping in his room. It woke me up at 3am which was TERRIFYING. I told Zane about it the next day and made him sleep in the living room with me for the remainder of my stay. That house definitely had a strong presence and I was scared to fall asleep every night. I literally have goosebumps typing this because that was my first paranormal experience I encountered! Kenny’s story reminded me of the time my friend introduced his boyfriend to me for the first time. It was during my dad’s wake and they both came over the funeral home but they both didn’t want to enter the room where my dad was in. My friend asked if we could just talk outside the building so we went to the parking lot to talk. About 30 mins after they left, he sent me a message saying, “I couldn’t tell you this earlier because I did not want to freak you out but my boyfriend told me that your father followed us outside the building and stayed beside you the whole time we were talking. He went back inside the funeral home when you did too. Gab told me to tell you that your father loves you so much. He can’t explain it but he said your father’s love for you was overwhelming and it’s something he has never experienced before.” And Kenny and Mariah was right, it was comforting and reassuring to hear something like that. 💜

Exactly how you described the dog is how kids react to "spirits". My older daughter when she was a baby, she would always stare at the exact same spot on the ceiling and smile ear to ear. My nephew was almost 3 years old when my Uncle Mark passed away from cancer. He loved that little boy. I remember when he passed it was definitely night time and my nephew was already in bed. The next morning he came out of his room and told his mom, "Uncle Mark not sick no more, he a angel". His mom obviously asked "who told you that?", since clearly no one could have told him since he was with her and asleep when she found out. He simply replied with "Uncle Mark did". When she told me that, it just confirmed that our beloved Uncle was in a better place. 💙

I moved into an apartment while I was in college. I put everything where I wanted it, but did not assemble it. I went to class for a couple of hours. When I got back, everything I had placed out was stacked on my bed. It was stacked neatly and organized. I am talking about TV stand parts, table parts, and IKEA type stuff. It took time is what scared me. I called the apartment complex and asked if anyone had been in my apartment for some reason. I asked if they had sprayed for bugs: ECT. I told them what happened, even though I knew it made me sound crazy. They sent a maintenance man over, and he looked around. He assured me there was no one there, nor had anyone been there. I am a huge skeptic of the paranormal, but like Zane, I feel it is best to not mess with it. It may, or may not, have been a Paranormal experience, but I have seen Dateline. I trust my gut. I broke my lease and moved out. My credit report isn't worth my life. ALWAYS trust your gut.

When they talk about kids and reincarnation it reminded me of this story my parents told me. I was about 2. When we would go to my parents house we would have pass this older couples house and every time we went by I would point it out and say "my old parents live there." My mom said she thought it was just me being a weird little kid. Until one day they were talking to my grandma about it and my mom says she just got really quiet and told my mom that their daughter had died about 3 years before I was born unexpectedly. Ok Kenny’s story gave me chills because I have a very similar one. Last September, my sister-in-law passed away very suddenly at 41. Unfortunately, she had just made contact with her 21 year old son who she had given up for adoption when she was young. They got to speak but hadn’t gotten to meet yet. We flew out to PA for her memorial, which would also be the first time any of us got to meet my nephew. She was obsessed with butterflies, so we decorated the whole chapel with hundreds of butterflies and flowers. It was beautiful. After the service, we kept getting swarmed with butterflies when we went outside. That night, my husband and I decided to go out to a few bars downtown with a group of friends and family members. It was a really sketchy area so we stayed inside mostly. My nephew was with us and we were telling him all about his mom. He went outside with two friends for about 10 minutes. When he came back, he said a random blond woman had come up to them and started speaking to him like she knew him. She told him everything was going to be fine and he was going to do great in life. Just random nice things. She then pointed to a wall and said “that’s a beautiful mural”. They looked up and there was a giant butterfly mural. She smiled and Then she handed him a business card and got into a random car and left. He looked at the card and it said “Psychic medium” and SHE HAD THE SAME FIRST AND MIDDLE NAME AS HIS MOTHER. My in-laws went back there in the day to take pictures of the mural. We know my sister-in-law was saying goodbye to the son she never got to know 🦋

I remember watching the first episode clear as day. It had just been released and I was mid-breakdown. One of the worst breakdowns I’ve ever had and I forced myself to watch it because it had been hyped up for so long and I did want to watch it and it took my mind off of the whole situation, I calmed down eventually and actually was able to enjoy the episode. I’ve been watching from day one and I just can’t believe you’re at 50 episodes already. @@mrunalinivengurlekar999 as a person who has been clinically diagnosed with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), this is something that happens to us, its called intrusive thoughts or "obsessions", and if you act on them, those are the "compulsions", and by acting on those thoughts you are reinforcing the fear or the idea and sometimes people get stuck in those cycles. yes a lot of people have intrusive thoughts it doesn't mean you have OCD but if you find yourself acting on them and its interfering with your regular day to day life then it could be OCD. i dont think this person meant it in a harmful way i think they just recognized what could possibly be happening with maria thats all

Like yeah, this might be something people clinically diagnosed with OCD do, but when someone says Oh you have OCD or something like that, it just becomes problematic because I just don't think we should throw around words like that. Like you said, doing what mariah said she does becomes a problem when it interferes with your day to day activities. So even casually saying "oh that's OCD" is problematic 'cause like I said, let's not throw words that are used in the medical community that have more serious connotations than what we usually mean Again, didn't want to bring anybody down by this, just thought it's important to choose words carefully
