A good unethical tip and a gamble, is to sell something you want way lower than the MSRP. Then you buy from people who undercut. Works better in the morning because people aren’t buying as much :)

The balance disord and icy veins takes care of battle jobs. I don't know much about stat melds on them. And I don't want to give out misinformation on jobs I don't even play.

I very much doubt the folklore materials (ie stuff like Fine Silver Ore) will go up in price much, if at all. They've long been hard-farmed in X.0 patches as a means to generate spiritbond for gatherers, and this is no exception. People likely have far more than they will need.

Hey Zane, maybe not a quick question but I notice you use the Crossbar, not sure if your PC or PlayStation. When I comes to Macros, do you have a method for Copy and Paste, takes me ages to manually type them out on PlayStation?

I unfortunately manually input. But I usually just copy and paste in the macro section and change the names inside the " " to make it easier.

No people run market board bots that will constantly go through and adjust the prices and auto undercut people and or have market board tracker programs that run constantly watching the market. That and also people run gatherer bots so they can mass gather items to sell

Yeah also a bit confused. I have 6000 sungilt aethersand right now and 1k mythroot and mythloam, and I've sold probably around 10k + dark rye. I regularly list 10+ of the same item at stacks of 99 and undercut every hour when ventures are up.

@@ZaneLionhartffxiv I mean I have 9 retainers and keep them all stocked with stuff I sale. My retainers are always in ventures and I make a ton of stuff all the time. In fact once we switched over I had premade 52k worth of tsai tou vani. I sold it on every single retainer and had it listen on them all. It’s not uncommon for people to list massive amounts of things. I do it all the time. I’ve already gotten enough mats to make 5k worth of the new crafting and gathering foods.

Was wondering why i came back to all this stuff dropping on mb to low values after getting home from covid. As for selling 99 stacks, not necessarily gil activities cause I've always done that each new expansion with aethersand thats how ive made my 70mil each time there was savage battle gear. 😊

It makes sense, but it also hurts the people who do that because then people who have 20 stacks of 99 from hours of farming legit have their items sitting there forced to take there items off and sell one at a time and lose profit cause they don't sit on the game 24/7

I wouldn't say weird it's that gear tends to sell slower so putting more than let's say two can raise supply if demand isn't there making prices decrease cause ppl don't know patience. Materials are different cause anyone can gather them in large amounts and throwing everything on the mb raises supply and demand doesn't keep up so ppl just bomb everything just to get rid of it.

Sorry I am new to ffxiv started in april grinded through all of msq right before dawntrail release with no story skipping and so I am still learning the ffxiv markets. I dominated the markets in swtor which is where I come from lol. And in swtor lots of things sold very fast but thats also cause most gear in swtor was cosmetic as far as actual gear pieces went. But other stuff like augments the swtor equivalent to materia sold super fast. So putting tons on the market usually didn't effect anything. But you bring up a really solid point on basic supply and demand principles. I will make note of it and I appreciate the response :) you rock.
