If in Bangkok, the best places to go to play Songkran are Sanam Luang, Khao San Road, Silom Road, Ratchaprasong Road, Siam Square, Soi Nana, Soi Cowboy, Sukhumvit Road, Rama 9 Road, and the S2O event. After 5:00 p.m., when Silom area was almost impossible to walk until 9:00 p.m., there were a lot of people, but it was even more fun.

The best for me (Lived there from 2008-2018) was Silom & Chong Nonsi Area (s). It is only in Bangkok for I believe 3 days but if you go to Pattaya it is extended for about 4+ more days!
