The haircut fee is 9,000 yen, which is a super high-end shop. Even in Tokyo, there are many haircut shops that charge less than 3,000 yen. Nowadays, there are cheap chain stores where you can buy it for around 1200 yen. Chuo and Minato wards, located in the center of Tokyo, are full of high-end stores, and very few Japanese people buy them just by looking at them.

I think you are thinking of blowfish not sea urchin. Sea urchin is usually something you have at a sushi place with a buttery seafood taste. I don't care for it personally, but worth trying it once in japan because in the US it typically isn't good. Sendai is a major city north of tokyo by about a 3 hour train ride or 5 hours by car. Not in roppongi, but if you want to check out some top tier ramen a little bit further north of you look up Tsukemen Gonokami and Fuunji. One is a shrimp tsukemen (though the pesto tomato shrimp version seems to be the most popular) and the other is a rich chicken tsukemen with smoky fish powder.
@Geomio7 ай бұрын
I'm Japanese born and bred in Tokyo. Let me tell you the taste of sea urchin depends so much on the quality, ie., the price. In Tokyo you can have it at the best kind of Sushi shops, never at belt conveyor places. If you visit Hokkaido, I'm sure you can have the best quality sea urchin at the unbelievably reasonable prices. Don't judge prematurely, not experiencing the top.

Yes, both of them are right. but when you say it to your mum or friends who cooked for u, u can say gochisousama, but when u are as a customer, you should say gochisousama deshita. Some customer say it without deshita, because they are older than staff. So if u are still young, you should put deshita, which is more polite!!

If you would google a little more and find out a little more about the history of the places you visit it might be less aimless. and in fact a little more interesting. For example the spider is a famous sculpture by the world famous sculpture Louise Bourgeois At the top of the Mori building is the amazing Mori Art Museum with amazing views. Roppongi has 4 great museums Including the Mori Art Museum, Suntory Museum, The Design Site , and the vast National Art Center. Beside the Mori Building the newly opened Asabu did Hills Mori Jptower. The Midtown tower is also very interesting with the Suntory Museum of Art. You might get a little deeper into the culture of Japan than your aimless but satisfying rather naive view. It does seem you found some great restaurants ! I know you love Japan but there is so much more to love if you dive a little deeper.
